You know he won't get it because they'll want to give it to someone who drags an average/good team into the playoffs at a higher position than expected (Westbrook, Butler) or a standout player on a great team (James, Curry/Durant, Leonard).

But Davis's starting teammates would be scrubs on pretty much any of the teams above - he absolutely should be the front-runner.
