If only we converted point to a goal the first match we'd be equal top.

It's probably a way get extra goals but women's game should be 25 metre penalty instead of 50 as generally that's the average length kicked.

Not the percentage booster it might have been but credit to Geelong's goalkicking accuracy, they made the most of the extremely few opportunities we allowed them.

Just a top notch overall performance, albeit against a weak side. Phillips was superb in the first half, Randall for all four quarters. We have genuine class on all lines now. Allan at FB is so impressive, fast, tall, calm under pressure and uses it well Randall is easily the best HB in the league and well in the discussion for best player full stop. Foley is excellent in that ruck role and contributes all over the ground. Marinoff has well and truly turned the corner from a disappointing 2018. Scheer is a beast up forward and remembered her kicking boots today, and then obviously Phillips as a goal sneak who can rotate through the middle is an absolute luxury. Thats without evening mentioning the likes of Thompson, Jones, Mules, A. Foley etc who all play their role well. There is tackling pressure all over the ground and there seems to be a structure they all understand. They're such a fun team to watch :)

They look like they're playing with a plan this year, that's the pleasing aspect. Barely allowed Geelong a sniff, to their credit they did well when they got a chance.

Fitness looks to have lifted a cog too. The young kids coming through the draft with that extra footy experience are lifting the teams across the board.

Oh and those 2 Randall and Phillips are handy.

Anyone still complaining about the level of skill in the women’s game is really looking stupid now
Yes and no.

Our conference is full of strong sides, but the bottom end of each team is still miles away.

The good thing is its improving at a good rate each season.

Should be great, as long as the AFL doesn't do anything moronic like further divide the talent pool between another four teams next year.

Lucky they played in a good win. Helps them look more photogenic with big smiles on their faces.

What did the little girl think of the game?

Loved it. She said she wants to play with the Crows when she grows up, and Noffy is her favourite player. My daughter needs to work on her kicking distance though.
