The Crows were better on every level today. Skills, gameplan, you name it Crows were better.

That should have been a flogging, but some Crows standard mistakes gave Geelong a far nicer score card than Geelong deserved.

I was being sarcastic but I was basing my comments on what Kate Sheehan was saying during the commentary.

How the hell did Geelong kick 6 goal straight? Just about all of them felt lucky and then double lucky they went straight. Without a miss! Wtf. That's happened 3 weeks in a row now, it's why we lost the first game - dominated, poor accuracy, then miracle goals in the opposite direction!

The fact is literally every team in conference A is at least one win clear of every team in conference B. What a ******* joke. You literally couldn't make a worse division of the conferences even with the benefit of hindsight.

The problem is, with 14 teams and a total reluctance to extend the length of the season, and conference system is pretty much the only option. But you have to do a better job of splitting up the conferences! I keep coming back to it. Brisbane gets a pass, sure, because they were in the last GF. But Carlton and Collingwood have effectively been competition jokes since the beginning, and GWS isn't much better. And everybody knew that Geelong were well behind North Melbourne. How could they have put them all in the same conference? Meanwhile you've got the last two premiers, the team that has only missed out on GF appearances by percentage two years in a row, the new super team, and Fremantle who it turns out are potent this year. It's an absolute embarrassment.

Set shot kicking at goal has improved out of sight. Good accuracy and for the most part we manage a ~40m distance comfortably.

This why conferences should not be in the main AFL.

US Sports use them as they have so many Franchises.

Although Soccer seem to do allright with almost as many teams and a straight ladder.

We dont have enough team to warrant conferences. AFLW is highlighting this flaw.

Presumably it was deliberately done to distribute premierships as much as possible.
