My observations from watching the stream...

Felt like we turned the ball over much higher up the park, especially in the last quarter, which is great. I don't think that was consistent throughout the game but good to see it in parts at least.

I felt kick ins were great and there was a handful of good transition moments started from the goal square so I think that's something we'll see alot in JLT, but not sure if teams league wide will figure it out pretty quickly after that and shut it down.

Sharing the goals around was good, but also Rozee and Cox getting 2 each was very nice.

As others have said, Drew was excellent. I'd be pushing him hard to build on it through JLT but he's a clear stand out for Ollie's vacant spot at this point in time.

Not really convincing but always good to win .
Mostly impressed by Drew , Amon and Broadbent but contributions from most players , Dursma and Butters showed a bit . Good hit out for the guys

Crows development talls up forward are really big, probably too big and not the most athletic compared to a few of ours that are a little leaner & looked to run out the game a bit better in the heat.

Billy is an interesting player, going forward I think he’s best to develop his game as a forward/pinch hit ruck rather than a ruck/forward.
Switching off and being unable to arrest back the momentum when a team gets a run on still a bit of an issue.

Really glad they streamed that game. Enjoyed watching the youngsters... and Broady.

We were so much more agile than them, maybe because we were smaller. They weren't perfect but the intent was certainly there. Wish SPP was there instead of playing aflx though

Drew looks great. Cox has a future if he puts everything he has into improving

Bit disappointed with rozee, butters and duursma . All showed some good signs, but expected more from them.

Funnily enough I played about 6 years of footy with Mahns at Smosh/Maggie's. Looks a totally different person! Some good midfield minutes, wonder if Port are taking a serious look at him..

Was at the club Monday for tea. Some little dude with a beard was doing a 1 on 1 running session with him. Absolutely flogged him for an hour with repeat sprints the length of the oval. After each one the little fella told him he wasn’t fast enough so do it again. Thought he was going to belt him

I do believe we some quality young players on our list... they might help us not full of the cliff so much in a year or so when a couple of our older players retire.

Hard to draw definite conclusions from a thrown together scratch match but kids looked good and there was definite aggressive play with overlap run and releasing handballs.

More pressure higher up the ground for the most part as Monty promised. Creates better scoring opportunities.

Cox looks alright. Couple of clangers but outweighed by some impressive things. Good to have Broady back out there.

Only a trial game but when's the last time we've won a game after being five goals down. We find it so hard to win after falling behind in a game.

Sounds like a really positive last quarter and a half. Hopefully they show a replay.

How did Marshall look? The bit I watched early had him playing behind his man instead of getting in front on the lead.

Both teams have a lot to come in, but hopefully this result is a reflection that we will be more than competitive against Adelaide this year as many expect them to be a very good side.

Great to hear the positive reviews about Drew. We need him AND Atley to come good.

Yeah Connor was fine considering he copped that stinger, they definitely went out to rough him up a bit but credit to him he took it & played pretty well.
