Ahh the Sweet Football Association, famous the vast oceans of reprobates kicking around an oblong shaped piece of leather through a set of four white aluminium rods at either end of an oval area of grass all the while big-noting at every opportunity about the calibre of trash-talking they produce in the direction of their counterparts. Such is the world of Qooty, the number one sport in the City of Sweet. But did you know there are other things that exist in the capital of Hindealla that is not Qooty?

This week we will be exploring so much heritage that we will look into the heritage of the places that even pre-existed league heritage. Back in the day when Mobbs was sitting in a bar in Old Town, Sweet West at the youthful age of 60 fiddling with some QB64 code on his IBM 5100 while drinking with a couple of mates. What we know as the Municipality of Sweet was a peaceful quiet town. How it become what we know of it today?

Let us go, you and I around this block of minecraft land to delve into the history of Sweet.

History & Backstory
Now in the southern coastal suburb of Docklands we see the Dockland Ports where today Sweet receives cargo shipments from foreign nations. Not far away we have Van Cortlandt Park where the famed Whore Tree is located and the Warriors host the East Side Hawks in Heritage Round.

Prior to the existence of the Sweet FA, the Docklands were previously known as Coney Island which many still refer to the suburb by. This was because it was separated from the mainland by a narrow stretch of water known as the Sweet Sound and was filled with lush, dense woodlands. However, as demand and popularity of Qooty rose on the Sweet mainland a group of entrepreneurs saw an opportunity to tap into a growing market and demand for professional sporting facilities. Hence, they formed the construction company Titanstorm Corp and took the opportunity to purchase the land on Coney Island and clear it in favour of creating two state of the art sporting grounds on the island; Titanland and Storm Stadium, open to be leased by professional sports teams with the apparent inception of the Sweet FA on the verge of happening. However, the venture ended up turning out to be a colossal failure with the venues hosting the Titans and Hurricanes in the league's initial seasons soon becoming defunct due to low crowd numbers. The requirement for travel by ferry in order to access the ground made for struggles by clubs that were based here due to the difficulties for the fans to access the game. After the Southern Sharks were disbanded at the conclusion of Season 7, Titanstorm Corp officially applied for bankruptcy and the Sweet City Council took ownership of the venues as collateral. The council soon after took apart Storm Stadium which was later rebranded into Fremantle Docklands by a suitor club in order to build an actual dock in order to create a port of entry for foreign trade, ocean holiday cruises and a base for fishermen.

These days the region still goes by its historical name Coney Island in the eyes of many, but Sweet City Council decided that in order to accommodate the growing population of the city, more land was required hence the Coney Island Reclamation project was put into action in order to connect the island to the mainland. This expansion of area paved the way for the Warriors to be accepted into the Sweet FA as crowd numbers soured due to easier access to the grounds READ THE FULL STORY HERE. After the reclamation was completed, the suburb was officially named Docklands, today it's a bustling and busy suburb with much of the middle-class population coming through here to enjoy outdoor recreational activities on the coast.

We will now head on over North-West to Nou Camp which is home to the biggest shopping centre in the land. However, if you were to go South-West you would find the country suburbs Rasaridge and Waverley. Waverley is the home of the Warriors' Heritage Round opponents the East Side Hawks and over there you would find the busiest suburb in Western Sweet with a local fast food restaurant Hungry TJASTA's recently opening and rapidly gaining popularity along with the public botanic gardens that attracts visitors from across Sweet City every day.

Ouch. We spent all week talking about you ..... Oh wait that was your brother.

Carry on

Is that suppose to hurt me? It's the equilvalent of me saying 'Ouch. We spent all week praying to you .... Oh wait that was your father'.

No I have no desire to hurt any one.

It would be the equivalent of saying you don't give a * about us. Taken well and serve returned with an amusing play on words. No more no less

Read this excerpt in a local news publication this morning.

"After 4 goals on debut harry000 was well held in the first half last week and dragged to the bench for a spray. To get him involved he was moved up the ground he showed alot of courage in a physical battle with his more experienced opponent and managed to pick up 14 disposals from the 21 minute mark of the second quarter.

What a diverse and exciting qooty player. What will he pull from his bag of tricks this week?"
