would have to read into it then that ryder is 100% gone
Yep and now it's his choice, take the 1yr offer or hasta la vista.
I watched Ladhams really closely on the replay and seriously our 2meter Peter could be anything even a Grundy or BETTER.
As for Todd get some muscle/bulk on get Tredders on board for coaching and we will have lift-off.

As for Frampton a straight Q to Ken in a presser "is it personal between you and Billy because to many supporters
there is no other explanation"

Great news! Interesting that it's coincided with their return to the AFL team as well. Port Adelaide's media team always fortunate when it comes to timing.

Would have to think that Ryder and Westhoff are in the real sunset of their careers now. Would be surprised if they both played on next year.

There is some momentum building here. Port need to embrace it and sharpen their focus, they need to believe in this season and supporters need to geg on board.
Spot on, hopefully the board gets us a new coach to go with it and the futures bright.

Sounds like both will continue, but 1 will probs be at a different club.

Despite the groupthink, Marshall has been given a decent run at it so far. Picked for finals year 1, played 7 games last year (at the time most thought that was too many and his head wasn't in it), and building on that again this year. Seems happy otherwise he wouldn't have signed on again. Next year he needs to push for a regular spot.

Ladhams is our best tall talent in my opinion.

Frampton - AFL must be the only sport on the planet where a player can spend 5 or 6 years on the list, not make an impact, and the fans still think they've been hard done by.

Amon is next I guess

Happens in soccer too. Players playing in the reserves or get loaned out several times and fans get behind them after showing strong form.

Pretty stoked about these signings - one of many green shoots for this season - improvement of Ladhams particularly has been immense. Would be very keen to sign up Frampton- talk of him being delisted is madness. Dixon may have run his race and Marshall is more the link up man - Frampton if he continues to develop, and he has developed in spades this yeAr, could be the answer as the tall clunking lead up forward

The club gave Ladhams a 3 year deal. That shows how much he has improved and what they think of his prospects.

Todd got a 2 year extension at the start of his second year in March 2018. More confidence in the lad to go this early with the extension. See LINK HERE

Reading that link that says we also signed up DBJ and Hayes, I checked our 2018 SANFL draw and we announced the Hayes 2 year extension, 5 days before he played his first SANFL league game. Finally getting our big man policy right.

Frampton has had a better year than Hayes (Hayes will be better long term).

But the main point should be that they are different players and we can easily have both on the list.

Hayes has been a fwd/ruck this year due to his injury and will split time between that and ruck.

Frampton is a KPF in the Dixon mould that should only ruck in emergencies.
Exactly. Hayes is a ruckman, Frampton a KPF, they're not vying for the same role.
Frampton is the only genuine KPF on our list besides Charlie, would be idiotic to delist him. He might, however, request a trade.

Frampton is in a unique position, this year is his first playing as a specialist KPF, every other year on our list he has been developed as a ruckman.

Playing as our FF he has absolutely dominated SANFL all year and not put a foot wrong in his two AFL games this year.

Huge news. Marshall I thought might explore his options to try and find some form. And Ladhams could be anything. Just gotta sign Amon and we’re all rosy

Could see westoff as a potential tall back for the last legs of his career or even a back up to howard.

Amazing double signing

With the lack of real ruck quality in the AFL.. Zac Clarke lol.. i was worried that Ladhams would be headhunted and leave for more opportunity. He is already dominating SANFL and his game on the weekend was real quality. He isnt just a tap ruckman. He gets plenty of the ball and uses it well and can kick ripper goals. Reminds me of a young Grundy. To hold on to him when im positive the vultures would have been circling is a massive coup. To me it also confirms that Ryder is gone next season.

As for Marshall there was always the pull to leave due to losing both his parents. Not so much lost to Port but lost to the AFL. It seems we are finally figuring out what Marshalls best role is (lone KPF it aint!!) and he is starting to play some good footy. To me he is very much in the Westhoff mould which is timely as Westy hasnt got alot left in him IMO.

Karl Amon next pls

For all the talk of Ken and his game plan being on the nose there is no arguing that the players still love being at Port Adelaide.
We have one of the best cultures in the afl!
