Youtube version for anyone not wanting to click through to the club's website. Seems we're hoping at least a couple rookies we rate tomorrow despite already having the minimum number required.
So happy with this draft!

This is why i found it disappointing in holding certain players on our list for seasons beyond their worth. Not naming names as find it a tad disrespectful, but why leave guys on lists that arent cracking the 22 consistently. When you can re charge in the draft with young kids.
Possibly, I think if Macrae had a full year of footy to showcase his talents, he'd have been top 10 for sure. Just my opinion thoughI think we’ve taken a few stabs at kids who played bottom age last year and most likely to be draft bolters this year.
Am I happy? Ask me in 4 years
Was at a mates last night during the draft, and while I kept an eye on what was going on, couldn’t post.
Things I liked:
Getting Macrae and Henry so late in the first round
No bid for McInness before our first picks
Being proactive with pick swaps to move us up the order and secure extra Daicos points.
The irrationally high number of Mc’s we drafted.
We actually drafted a key forward.
Things I didn’t like:
Essendon taking both Reid and Cox (jerks)
Going for the left field KPP over more credentialed and better performed candidates (again) in Callow and Baldwin.
Overall I’m thrilled with the quality we got with our first picks. If we can grab a Callow or Baldwin in the rookie draft I’ll forgive them being overlooked in the ND.
Which is ludicrous. Our best forward for the last two years had been Checkers and he’s the same type as Callow. Baldwin is more dynamic but with injury question marks. Both were worth a list spot as a late selection imo, and now they’ll end up somewhere else in the rookie draft. We did not take Callow and Baldwin as they not the type of KPP we like and lack of Versatility.
McMahon is a Project with good Attributes but in Rankings he went about where he was Ranked
its not how much taller... it show MANY MORE talls...McMahon is a 196cm KPF with speed off the mark and a big leap with good hands - how much taller do you want?
I'm guessing we'll either rookie list one of the KPF's that don't get picked up in the draft or invite o e down to train with us perhaps with a view to adding them as a rookie later.
probably... has that type of rep by the soundsDid Eddie Ford piss in someone's beer?

We need a 196cm+ FB, FF & CHF... Big forwards will moster us next year. Only one D Moore
Roughead on last legs, Cox no certainty, Mihocek a third tall... hope Keane & Kelly can really step, otherwise we're fooked
wow, sounds v goodRated back in September!
You know my number Hine, call me.
TD the better rated KPF prospects were gone by the time we could get a bid in. Let's see what happens today.Going by that and what we done shows we don't really rate KPF very highly
ok... "will monster us for the next 3 - 5 years" Nicky D isnt a KPP, so we'll need to get them from somewhereThat draft was not about next year. This is about building around Grundy, Moore, Goo, Adams. Maynard etc. These guys should be at their peaks maturity wise as these kids start to hit their straps.
