How long until Port have their second heartbreak moment where they realize Ken won't be sacked?

First moment: 10 minutes into the first quarter on Saturday night

Koch on the radio this morning:
- loss will galvanise us
- Kenny has the best home and away record over the past few seasons
- we finished 17-5 this season, which is a great achievement

They are in denial.

Was this last year’s interview or this years?

Has there ever been a better weekend in sporting history?

Port smashed in a home final.
Geelong smashed in the finals, ensuring Dangerflog never wins a flag.
Djokovic smashed in the final of the US Open, ensuring he doesn't achieve the Grand Slam.

...

and Daniel Ricciardo wins the Monza GP.

Does it ever get any better than this? Not since 1998, in my memory.
Ronaldo went back to united and scored 2 in his first game, pretty epic weekend.

When Port are playing "The Port Adelaide Way", nothing can stop them. They could be playing the All Australian side and still win, though it is fair to say that if Port play "The Port Power Way" all season, Ports first 21 would be the All Australian side with maybe Bont as medical sub

Why do commentators keep saying Port has a young list?
They're almost bang on average - they have the 8th oldest list, only 0.1 months older than the 10th oldest list:
https://www.draftguru.com.au/lists/2021

Geelong has the oldest list, at 25.4 years.
Adelaide has the youngest, at 23.6 years.
Port's is 24.4 years.

** Not sure what the measurement date was - but all teams have aged equally since then.

But, like geelong, all their best players are on the old side of the table. That's the important part.

And we have since lost Talia, Lynch and Mackay so will still be youngest in 2022.

Good lord..for their “Chasing Greatness” fund Port have raised only $162 000 of their target of $13m 😳😄

Only 170 donors. Somehow I don’t think they’re gonna make it after last night’s effort.

And why do they call it “Chasing” greatness - makes it sound like they may never catch it! Surely Achieving Greatness would have been more positive
I've said it before, Ill say it again
Charge your members the same prices for your membership as the rest of the league, and you'd wipe out your debt in 3 years max.

no.. they wouldn't.. because their members wouldn't pay up if the price goes up..

and you watch how much worse it will get ober the next few years as they tumble down the ladder and have to cover the stadium in tarps again..

They are in denial.
They simply won’t acknowledge their gifted fixture and hence their artificial ladder position. They’re also in denial about their flakey list.

Long may they live in denial. Long may Ken reign. Long may Koch lead them into oblivion chasing rainbows in China.
