Lions were far from convincing. Think I'd rather play them before just about anyone else in the 8 first week of finals.

You have to beat them at the Gabba last round to make the top 4.
Worry about that first.

I was shocked at how s**t St Kilda were. They didn´t want to win.

If St Kilda can recruit some decent players in the offseason they'll be pushing top 4 next year.
Yeah. Not sure. Theyve gone down that path for the last few years in topping up. They have a few talented youngsters but a big hole in the middle bracket of their group. They need early draft picks. And extending Ratten was way too premature.

More hack journeymen, exactly what the Saints need.
Exactly

Improvement is easily obtainable

King is obviously not a forward but would make a great intercept defender, he'd be difficult to pass, he runs very fast and is a great mark

Hayes can take his spot up forward

They'd be five goals better off straight away

Can we get Matthew Lloyd to sort out Max Kings kicking for goal. Clearly no one there has any idea what they are doing. But but but no no we can’t have too many voices in Max’s ear?
How about the right *en voices?

He honestly has the best job in the world. His main goal is to “bring the footy to the ground” aka can’t mark it to save himself. If he kicks a goal he gets a 10/10. In footy terms he’s ordinary, but in life he’s an extremely likeable person so as shite as he’s been, he’s an absolute ripper of a bloke but his time with the Lions is well and truly done.
Are you talking about Daniher or Hipwood?

King does fall over in a light breeze though. But yes he certainly has some over traits that would make him a great intercept player.

Few charity goals for the brave Saints last night

B Hill - wow weee. Absolute plodder that runs into the worst positions and just always pointing the finger. No wonder why his teammates never kick it to him.
M King - showed some good aggression last night. he's young, he'll be fine

Probably too late to make a difference but I’d be dropping king for next week. Not mainly because of his kicking which was deplorable but his effort. He was falling over way to easy. Absolutely soft. Looked like he didn’t even want to be out there. And that was before he missed sitters. Really need to get the message that key forwards don’t behave that way. He’s a mess.

Max King needs to be sent on an Adelaide style camp. Pry his eyes open clockwork orange style and watch all those poor attempts at goal kicking for hours on end.
