New club may not be able to smooth the cash over multiple years.

That will only work if we take Hill otherwise l dont think they would be able to do it...If it was Bowes and pick7 or Hill l know what l would take...

Bowes is supposedly on 850k for the last two years of his contract as it was heavily back ended. Pick 7 to get that much cap space off your books isn't a bad deal. Especially when you you already have other first round picks.

We need to break out of the mindset Freo will trade us a contracted Tucker for chips as we waltz Logue into the PSD.

Longmuir really doesn't rate Tucker. So it wouldn't surprise me if we get him for peanuts.
