He's a bit younger than the ones mentioned, but David Rodan's kid Tevita is one I'm keeping an eye out for.

I think I checked this once before, and one of them is a girl.
Tevita might be a chance, is already fairly tall for his age.Really need some of them to be 195+cm behemoths.
Still there as of 4 days ago.Anyone know how Trent fared with his preseason training in Melbourne
The tall one.
Having played for the Richmond Tigers, Port Adelaide Power and the Melbourne Demons, David became the first Fijian-born player to reach 100 AFL games.I think I checked this once before, and one of them is a girl.
Rome is too young. The club has previously announced that Harper Montgomery, Will Francou and Preston Cockatoo-Collins are father/son players who have joined the Port Maggies. In the same announcement they also said that the nephew of Steven and Daniel Motlop, Brodie Motlop, is joining the Maggies.Someone at work said he'd heard that Rome Burgoyne and another of the young father sons were playing for the port maggies this year. Couldn't remember where he'd read that.
I haven't heard anything of the sort, anybody else heard anything like this?
Tink that you have to at least be, or turn, 18 in the year you are currently playing to be eligible to play as a top-up player for the Magpies.Rome is too young. from the sanfl subfile: Jed Hagan (East Fremantle), Preston Cockatoo-Collins (North Adelaide), Will Francou (North Adelaide), Brodie Motlop (North Adelaide), Harper Montgomery (North Adelaide).Tink that you have to at least be, or turn, 18 in the year you are currently playing to be eligible to play as a top-up player for the Magpies.
May also be restrictions on the number of games as well? Or maybe that only applies to players like Roberts last year and Jase Burgoyne in 2021, who were contracted for 4 games because of it being their draft eligible year? Monty and Francou weren't drafted at the end of 2022, so they could be different.
Speaking of other top-ups, anyone heard of anyone contracted for this season?
Thanks for that, mate.from the sanfl subfile: Jed Hagan (East Fremantle), Preston Cockatoo-Collins (North Adelaide), Will Francou (North Adelaide), Brodie Motlop (North Adelaide), Harper Montgomery (North Adelaide).

Story was Melbourne brought him over for a pal for Kozzie Pickett because although he’s happy with Melbourne the club doesn’t particularly like MelbourneWonder what's next for Trent Burgoyne, Casey VFL or back to WWT Eagles?
As a father/son he's still eligible to play for the Port Maggies like he did last year. He's going to have to toss up whether he is a better chance of getting on an AFL list again playing in the VFL or SANFL. He's not going to be earning much playing in either comp (unless there is some creative accounting at Melbourne), so in terms of family support he may decide to come back home. He also values playing with his brother and with Jase looking like he'll be squeezed out of the Power side, due to DBJ being preferred, they will get the chance to play at least some games together at the Port Maggies.Wonder what's next for Trent Burgoyne, Casey VFL or back to WWT Eagles?
Comes back here and it backfires for Melb on Kozzie, because if they've been getting along and are good friends, and Kozzie is looking at Port, at home, with his mates playing out there, then it's going to be a huge lure.As a father/son he's still eligible to play for the Port Maggies like he did last year.
