They aren’t changing countries for $100k to play a sport they don’t have a clue about. Being a Gumby at a sport is not very enjoyable.

And this supposed influence these foreign recruits from other codes would have on the AFL's popularity globally is probably being overstated anyway, even if we were to get more of them.

I don't really get the impression there are very many Americans who give a solitary shite about Cox's success at Aussie Rules over here, to be frank.

My memory was of Cox single handedly winning us the match, however:

Is there a attached risk with tassie kids as now with the new franchise on the way? They'll be raiding clubs of any Tassie born talent with a big go home factor and cash to splash. Seen there is a few this year.
