I thought we showed some very good signs yesterday. You can take your cheap pot shots but we actually look like a club with a plan and improving.

For a side that finished 2023 so badly you'd think you'd want to show something in the practice games. You've picked up some B and C graders and look terrible. Could be a long season, bottom four well and truly on the cards.

Saints moved the ball well including going through the middle, which was something Essendon seem petrified to do
