This is all the fault of the bootlickers in the AFL media for bringing up those two empty threats from the past, there is only one reason I can think of why they did that.

The stupid AFL should've just fined Willie and forced him to stay off social media, and he could've played this week in the Showdown, now we miss one of the good players playing in a big game for no reason, and that pisses me off.
'for no reason'
where have you been for the last few days?

Hi Kane/Willie/Chris.

I think a precedent has been set here by the AFL. Verbal threats off field and on field to other players are given a tick of approval, regardless of your skin color or race.
Hey, why not?

I mean, with some of the disgusting repeat behaviour that hasn’t been punished by the AFL in the past, why not just add to the list?

Given players can literally assault people in the street and still be allowed to play AFL games, why would you assume they'd act on verbal threats.

Only a couple of weeks ago Lachie Neale called out fans abusing and threatening players in social media direct messages. Which got a fair bit of traction and publicity, with everyone saying its not on.

Not a good look by the AFL to basically now say this sort of activity is ok

Assault:
An act that intentionally or recklessly causes another person to fear immediate and unlawful violence. This can involve physical contact, but also threats or attempts to use force, even if no physical contact is made.

If footy is an exclusion zone from law, that would be nice to know. If it is not an exclusion zone from law, that would also be nice to know.
