The lack of goal scoring power is a real concern.
We’ve spend a lot of draft picks trying to fix this problem and I’m not sure we’ve made in meaningful progress.
I don’t know what we can do mid season about this but JHF and perhaps luko might help.

The goal kicking is killing us week after week year after year.
We get enough inside 50’s but can’t convert.
Draft players that can kick a football!

SPP and Dbj deserve to be dropped after that, but they wont be. Subbing Finalyson instead of SPP was odd. He wasnt great either. Good effort by Jackson , nice finish by Moraes and Vis toiled on.

Finlayson twice in the last quarter point blank refused to put a tackle on an opponent it was embarrassing in fact Timmy Ginever said it was the worst effort to tackle he had ever seen!

Our small forwards are as bad as our tall forwards

Apart from Rioli they aren’t really small forwards thoug aren’t they?

They’re just a bunch of players who we’ve try to convert to small forwards.

Sure they tackle hard and apply lots of pressure but they give you nothing else.
Definitely not score board pressure or clean disposal into our fwd 50.

It really is bizarre. The Ken Hinkley Football Club.

Apparently he's a genius because he put Rozee in a position where he played his best football in his draft year.

Reckon in both those plays, Mead also failed to apply a tackle when in the vicinity of the player with the ball. I was screaming at the TV both occasions.

Nice to see both Moraes and Jackson kick their first goals.

Jackson looked solid particularly in the first head 11 touches to half time, and was clean with ball and looked to use the ball positively.

Moraes had just the one kick, but glad to see him back himself in and take the shot. In previous games he’s been a bit too unselfish, so happy to see him grab his moment.
