Do we think a spell up forward for Balta might take a bit of initial pressure off him to get him back into the game, that would then allow Blight in as well.

I'm in no hurry for Short to come back as i don't see where he fits at the moment with Banks and Brown.

KMac is only a break glass in case of emergency type.

Kaleb and Steely can rest, Faull or Sims can be rotated as well.

Alger a full game please.

Lefau might not be quite ready but assisting down forward wouldn't be worst if we can fit.

Sonsie might get one more before the stamp comes out.

If Trainor is sore even after the break, then rotate him as well.

Agreed it hasn't previously, but he has a lot of the tools required for it so with nothing to lose, i still reckon worth a try, and if the indirect benefit is also having a look at Blight again - thats a potential indirect win as well.

I do prefer more time for him Ruck 2 though as per above ....

Either way it would require Blight back in who’s earnt the call up

Would need some coverage down back if he is taking the hitouts especially if we are assuming it’s when Nank is having a rest and obviously need the coverage if he’s spending time down forward

Other option is we just let him run wild off the wing like Richo or Blicavs as the current example

Would need to manage his minutes because I doubt he would have the tank (Blicavs is an aerobic freak) but with Trainor spending some time in the role it might be an interesting experiment at the very least

We aren’t winning the flag anyway so why not throw some shit at the wall and see if anything sticks

Personally I’ve quite enjoyed this season

Sure I would like to win more games but seeing the cubs develop has been super fun and watching guys like Banks and Seth take it to another level has been equally enjoyable

Those couple of wins we have squeezed out have also been super high points and hopefully we can snag one or two more before the season is over

The reality is we are going to be seeing similar outcomes for the next 2 - 3 seasons as well so if you are struggling to find enjoyment now I hate to think how you will be over that period

Sure I would like to win more games but seeing the cubs develop has been super fun and watching guys like Banks and Seth take it to another level has been equally enjoyable

Not through Balta playing forward. He was moved on the ball as second ruck in the grand final.

Don't mind that. Make more/better use of his athletic traits... Even when he plays back I wonder if he uses his speed to run off his man enough to initiate attacking plays?

I don't like the idea of him holding onto the ball for any more than a second. Two at the most. The less time he has to think about it the better.
