Watsonia – Next 4 games:
NPFC, OP, LPFC, MAC
Thomastown – Next 4 games:
WHIT, NPFC, OP, DC
Looking ahead, Watsonia might be a real chance against Old Paradians and Lower Plenty.
As for Thomastown, you’d back them to beat Parade, and they could cause an upset over Northcote if things go their way.
Relegation could come right down to percentage this season after the weekends result, shaping up to be another tight finish!
So you have the OPs going down?Watsonia – Next 4 games:

Could get very tight. Thomastowns percentage is handy.OPs – Next 4 games:
LPFC, WFC, TFC, SMFC
Nah, I reckon OP’s stay up, they’ve got one more upset in them before it’s over.So you have the OPs going down?
All winnable games Mappa, hoping you get some players back!!OPs – Next 4 games:
LPFC, WFC, TFC, SMFC
Wdym upset, parade are favourites in at least two of those games on the run homeNah, I reckon OP’s stay up, they’ve got one more upset in them before it’s over.
Could come down to how Round 18 plays out with Thomo taking on DC and Watsy against Macleod.
With the Bears handy percentage keeping them safe.
Advantage Macleod.Lalor to host D2 finals. Will not suit Diamo one bit.
Spot on.Advantage Macleod.
Why is that? Smaller ground?Lalor to host D2 finals. Will not suit Diamo one bit.
DC running power on the bigger ground superior and is nullified on smaller ovalWhy is that? Smaller ground?
Diamo beat mac by 40 points at Mac home ground smaller ground and lost to mac at diamo much bigger groundDC running power on the bigger ground superior and is nullified on smaller oval
Yep this is true.Hearing PH coach Simon amore stepped down effective immediately after Saturdays game instead of seeing out the year!
Might have to backtrack on this one...If theres anything I know about this Watsy group is that they're always up for a challenge, and always ready to dig in when needed. With 8 games to go they are only 3 games out of the top 5, lets say they win their next two in a row and manage to sneak into the 5... who knows what can happen. Don't have to look too far to see the amount of talent they have. Although if i had to say I think St Mary's are my tip to win it, seen too many inconsistency's in Diamo and Macload's gameplan.
Diamo didn’t have too much trouble with the smaller ground on Saturday by the looks of it.DC running power on the bigger ground superior and is nullified on smaller oval
Yeah was wondering the same thing. They've mentioned Simon Amore who has stood down and won't be coaching this weekend. Maybe they do the write ups at the start of the week and were unaware Lowe was suspended? Is the NFNL using AI to do their weekly previews?
According to the Div2 write up…”Ethan Lowe for Watsonia has had an outstanding year…and he will look to add to his tally again”.
Ethan has been suspended for 3 weeks, so adding to his tally might be tricky.
This isn’t a comment on him, the incident or suspension BTW, just on the write up and the accuracy of it.
Well it hasn’t been formally announced and only confirmed via bigfooty so can’t blame them for that.Yeah was wondering the same thing. The burra do have lots of outs due to injury and overseas, probs missing 5 of there top 10 imo. At the start of the year when they were full side they did lose to whit by 2 goals and were up by a goal at 3qrt against macloed. Everyone playing for 2nd when diamo have full strength team back in. There’s to lose.Well that's probably that for Watsonia. Off to div 3 next year.
Last 2 weeks have also shown St Mary's are a distant 4th.
