At least they had a crack, but sadly, whenever one of our girls win the footy, you just wait a millisecond until an error hands it back. The passage late in the last quarter where we streamed forward and Katie and ??? spoiled each other and lay on the deck while Saints waltz out, go coast to coast and kick the sealer. Not sure we have any winnable games for the rest of the season.

Is it just me or does the team appear to have gone backwards. In terms of overall playing standards. Of course we have a few who are outstanding, but they can only do so much...
Hope the girls make me eat my words!!
Backwards in leaps and bounds , rarely any decent passage of play , fumbles , dropped marks , Egan losing her feet for no good reason , ill directed handball . Have I missed anything
Nice pass from dallaway and Scotty to set up goals were highlights

Never want to see Sarah Hosking on the field for us again. Actively detrimental to our cause today. Brennan was shocking too, has to trust her teammates more because she doesn’t have the skills she used to.
Hosko always been an avg player , light on skill , pretty slow , goes in hard is about all she offers , I’d retire if I were her and focus on media career

Kate Sheehan needs to go, seriously how can we recruit players that have no footy IQ & ordinary skills. When you watch even the Gold Coast & they look better than us.
Poor old Mon cant carry us anymore, probably her worst game in the jumper. Good game from Poppy, very good game from Elle & good efforts from Scott & Ford. Also Greiser showed a little bit, but needs to do it for 4 quarters.

We should sell the farm for Montana Ham
Sydney's so stacked with quality midfielders they don't even play her in there, instead she's playing forward, just the big bodied mid that we are desperately in need of, her or Charlie Rowbottom another. both ex Vics & maybe a bit homesick, offer them the farm and more.

Is fitness an issue? Younger fitter players just seem to run over the top of us.Even Mon looks slow now,to many mistakes a better effort,
but we are way off the mark.
Watching Suns who are up by 8 points over the Crows at half time, and the speed is obvious in these young players, and they've got 5 x first years out there. They may not always be consistently good, but there future is looking good with their young list and just how dynamic they are. And clean with the ball.

Its frightening that they're sec bottom and will likely give us a hiding , we ll see i spose

Mon is not slow.

Teams are getting faster.

I reckon we came into the season underdone compared to other teams. Need to review our fitness staff.

She being tagged ea week and opponents are better than they used to be and our midfield support is weak

Four of the top 5 contested possession today were St Kilda players, only Ellie McKenzie for us. You can't blame Mon for not getting there like today at times where there is a focus from the oppo onballers to stop her or she 's just having a quiet game.

Egan is really the only mature onballer for us and she did make a difference today, and Grieves has proven that she can do it also but she needs a season or two for her body to be able to get to the level of the others, apart from that we are weak.

One journo said last week that when Scotty went to Centre bounce that they didn't do well in clearance but Scotty is a contested beast and should be in our midfield rotation more often and prove them wrong. Lynch is another one who can do this.

It's really obvious that losing Sheerin is hurting us badly.

Been some consistent drizzly rain for a few days in Melb and we’re playing at their shit ground.
You need firm surface to push the ground away accelerating.
Not many burst from the pack today.

Yeah in that 2 v 2 you've got to be better than both flying at it, Scotty was the other player and was running back towards goals and a lack of awareness there probably on Brennan as she had to have had that in her periphery and had a bit more time to sum up the play.

We looked gassed half at the start of the last quarter.
I can’t see the improvement in fitness levels.
I thought the rain helped us today as well. Probably only one more chance of win this year now.
