He's equal with the two he's coming for in the GOAT stakes: Lethal and Duck.Lots of talk about how many votes Nick has got
Only one stat matters. How many medals has he got?

Don't stop them. The Bradman talk is hilarious and I want it to become their thing.Lots of talk about how many votes Nick has got

Maybe if your ‘GOAT’ had one kick, yes just one in the last 1/4 you may have got close. Too busy running around trying to get an easy kick and couldn’t even do thatOf course he's going to say that.
But I'd rather be 6 points down with 9 minutes to go and all the momentum, than 18 points down with 8 minutes to go.

13 of the top 20 on my list in the OP are sans Brownlow. He's equal with the two he's coming for in the GOAT stakes: Lethal and Duck.

Still waiting to hear an alternate term for a player who is 20% clear of the #2 player in the history of the game for Average Brownlow Votes per game?Don't stop them. The Bradman talk is hilarious and I want it to become their thing.
Tis only 22 v 23, so still comparable IMHOThe other thing with this list is that we saw some of these players have some incomplete seasons early on, meaning they were much older than Daicos by the time they hit the 85 to 90 game figure.
Fyfe, Rowell, Cripps...
Here’s a question for ya, your OP13 of the top 20 on my list in the OP are sans Brownlow.

The resounding answer is NO.Here’s a question for ya, your OP
The Daicos effect
I think I’m right and Mcrae setup the team to build your gameplan around maximising one players opportunities in the midfield.
Daicos.
The unintended consequence of Pendlebury suffering a soft tissue injury (I haven’t even gotten into that yet) resulted in you not being able to execute the gameplan that the entire team list was built around and resulted in Daicos having arguably his least impactful game for the year, in a preliminary final.
Do you think The Daicos effect on your coaches limited your clubs ability to win a Preliminary Final?
Back to your focus on finals in his debut season (whilst also pretending to argue they should be excluded)N.Daicos has been in 2 prelim sides and a premiership team. By coaches votes in finals he has finished:
Outside the top 50 in 2022
Equal 11th in 2023
Outside the top 17* in 2025 (1 match to come)
He's had a few decent finals but is yet to really dominate in that setting. The closest he came was against the worst performing finalist this century (lost all 8 quarters at home) Adelaide

Indeed.I think you're being a bit harsh on Nick. His average is still rising. It should get well over 20% clear of the next best.
Nah, Daics is respectful of the past and would be fine with itIt’s a little disrespectful using the term Bradmanesque.

Should there be special dispensation?Mr.Disengenous at it again.

And then using a season where he returned from a knee injury so didn't play all finals.
You're quite brilliant![]()
Cut it out Meow, we all know if Goatcos played cricket he’d average well into the 140s with the bat.Don't stop them. The Bradman talk is hilarious and I want it to become their thing.

Just looked it up. Bunton didn't debut until he was a year older than Nick, which means we really shouldn't include Nick's first year in a comparative average. So really it's better to use an adjusted average, which means he's 40% above Bunton.Indeed.
We're all well aware his average is detrimentally impacted by an 11 vote rookie season.
What can he peak at?
Where will he end up once his career is done?
It's going to be an amazing watch!
Now these plebeians making up their own fanfiction to try and discredit him.Well I just read a stat saying Fyfe had 100 Brownlow votes after 3 seasons.
And not sure you are the most objective broker in this conversation fadgey old son.

In my opinion, no.Should there be special dispensation?
Give them a break. Now these plebeians making up their own fanfiction to try and discredit him.![]()
That could very well be the longest sentence in the history of BigFooty...Nick is obviously a great player and doesn't do anything on field that warrants the hate he gets but what he can't help is the ridiculous fawning from commentators whose job is to commentate on the game as it unfolds rather than openly cheer and reinforce how big of a star he is every time he has a possession or is in the vicinity of the ball.
