Bit early to make that call, we were crap tonight sure but we are still to adjust with the loss of Rance and Houli, still a lot of season to go.
Considering Rance is out for the season, I just can't see you seriously challenging the likes of Collingwood, West Coast when they get it together, GWS and potentially even teams like Port and Melbourne should they play to their potential.

You're now in that tier below, fighting with teams like Geelong/Adelaide etc. for a home elimination final. And that's if you adjust/get it together.

Beware the wounded Tiger...
I'm not writing them off just yet.

We have a few to return. Long way to go. There’s always another next week.

Its 2 gamescin and we went in favourites for this game you might be right but way to early to make such rash statements.

It did cost 3 or 4 direct chances at goals one way or the other, in reality Collingwood were always going to win this from the first quarter on we were terrible.

Some frees in the first half that resulted in Richmond goals which were probably not there either.

As a neutral, thought the umpiring was not great both ways.

Pies good. Dominant. Tigers not working nearly hard enough. Umps ordinary and mostly to the benefit of the pies- not that it affected the outcome.

I just think teams have learnt how to combat Richmond now. The second half of last year was teams inching closer and closer to beating them until a team with actual skill (Collingwood) was able to pull it off in the end.

Doesn’t mean Richmond won’t able to adapt. They have time.

Richmond really need to improve their pressure if they're to achieve anything this year. They could learn a lot from the pressure Geelong applied when they rolled the Pies.
Pressure was awful tonight absolutely. It was disposal that killed us though. So many missed handballs, fumbles and kicks turned over. They gave up in the end, they were spread too much by the Pies moving the ball around and were overrun in the last 10.

Lynch was good but he changes how Richmond play. Funny the tiger mob were to ignorant to see it and argued it wouldnt.
Its round 2 and were 1 and 1 lets not go overboard just yet we have to get used to a new system forward and back now not easy in one or two games.

Remember we beat you quite easily early last year then lost in the prelim, long way to go, plenty of time to get it sorted still got plenty of good players out there.

I'll give you there were a fair few horrible calls, but perhaps... maybe... just by chance... Collingwood's pressure/Richmond's lack of composure resulted in many free kicks being awarded?
Perhaps. Or perhaps the crowd influenced the umpires? As someone else pointed out 20 frees to 11 Adelaide's way last week. Bet it won't be that way when we play away. Umpires are weak. Give into crowd pressure. Everyone but razor ray that is.

St Kilda 18
Gold Coast 29

How many Gold Coast fans were at Docklands last weekend?

Obviously commenting blindly without watching the game, aren't you?

Imagine backing up that shithouse prelim performance with such a limp, spineless effort.

Never change Richmond.

They weren't great but it's compounded by the way they try to play and the side they have shaped to play it. Has served them reasonably well but it's been worked out and exposed by a Collingwood side that are good enough to not only win the ball (Tigers basically plan to concede it so they can squeeze opposition and force turnover before spreading away) but keep it off them and move it quick enough to isolate and expose the defense.

25 frees to 9 lol.

What a dream it would be if the afl umpires, I mean Collingwood football club can get the pies a premiership this year. Fairy tale stuff... Almost like bulldogs winning it, or Richmond with cotchin leading the way. Absolute stuff vicco dreams are made of.

And I thought the umpiring favoured richmond if anything.
