Saints fans like me (both AFL&NFL) just smile and start thinking about next year. Always entertaining, always coming up short. The similarities are uncanny with these teams.

And to think NO started in 66??? :(

And how about the Saints in the EPL.....at least they were 3-0 winners this weekend :)

Love doing it hard huh? To have the strength to follow any Saints team deserves admiration.

I follow North (AFL) Steelers (NFL) Villa/Blades (EPL) equally as facinating with a tad more success.

Did anyone else see the dying seconds of this game?

All I have to say is:

Bwahahahahahahaha.

Yeah, that was one of the funniest things I've seen. Reminds me of the 12th Man's first Wired World of Sports, where Greg Norman hits a wedge out of 12 metres of water within a foot of the cup.

In the words of Ian Chappell "Norman then went on to completely f*ck up the putt and lose the tournament." :p

Packers are giving the Raiders an absolute flogging at the moment.

I know my team was the one that got flogged-- but it was an absolute thrill to watch Brett Favre perform under the conditions that he did, with his father passing away the day before.

Favre has always demonstrated fantastic toughness, mentally and physically, but this was the ultimate in that, certainly.

Oh, and that last play in the Saints game, before John Carney missed the PAT, that was the best combination of laterals I've seen this side of the 1982 "Big Game" between Cal and Stanford in Berkeley. And this coming from the keyboard of a Bay Area native. :)
