Two great LIVE games on the box this week. About bloody time too after some of the crap we've had! Denver/Raiders last week was a bonus though.

16 - Minnesota - even their defense should have a day out against the NFL's worst offense
15 - St. Louis - big offensive week for the rams
14 - New England - Ouch!!!
13 - N.Y. Jets - even if Pennington doesn't come up, the Jets by plenty
12 - Oakland - they're improving and the Chiefs aren't, take the +50 on this game
11 - Indianapolis - no value here for the punters. The Titans D could limit the scoring but no enough for a win
10 - Baltimore - the Bengals D are the key in this game. After last week, no thanks
9 - Buffalo - they'll find a way to win (s/teams?) and the Dolphins will find a way to lose.
8 - Seattle - they couldn't, could they?
7 - Philadelphia - a classic in the making. The +6.5 for the Packers is generous though
6 - Pittsburgh - should be a trench fight. The under 36 looks good here
5 - Carolina - their D to shred the NO offense. Jake to stick it up NO yet again
4 - N.Y. Giants - turnovers galore.
3 - San Diego - this Chargers team are for real. Watch for a cheap shot from Lynch on Gates.
2 - Tampa Bay - Atlanta struggled to move the ball against the Saints, the Bucs will drive them backwards
1 - Arizona - Do I have to pick one? Question is, which QB's will finish this game.

Two great LIVE games on the box this week. About bloody time too after some of the crap we've had! Denver/Raiders last week was a bonus though.

And two potentially great games at that, too.

In the case of the latter game, the Eagles against the Packers, that could potentially be a playoff preview, as I believe those teams could face off at some point on the road to the Super Bowl.

And don't forget Pittsburgh and Jacksonville on ESPN-- looking forward to seeing Ben Rothlisberger playing live, and working his magic for the form team in the AFC at present.

Not only was Denver and the Raiders a bonus, and a great game, but it was a "snow" game, too, and we don't get to see too many of those in the modern NFL, and much fewer of those games on television over here.

Mind you, I tipped against my Raiders, and lost that tip, but I didn't seem to mind... any time we beat the Broncos, it's all good.

JULIUS JONES!!!!!!!!!

How good has this kid been since he returned from injury...198 yards and three touchdowns against the seadawks(for a talented squad they lack some serious balls).

Finally we have a running back that can get out of first gear and make some serious gains. Now if we can get a decent QB for next year and a decent corner we may press for a playoff berth next season.

brilliant..under a ton of pressure with the game on the line he showed some serious ability. He has some Emmitt smith about him in that he is smart at reading the D and finding space where most wouldn't. He isnt Marshall faulk, Portis like quick but his first ten metres are super quick and thats all you need to run through a hole.

If he can continue to carry 30 times for 150+ yds, the Cowboys might just be chance for a wild card this year.

New Orleans next week JD... . It will be good to see two talented RB's go at it as well as two QB's who find new ways to turn the rock over every week. Should be fun.

If Vinny keeps giving the ball back to the opposition we may have to find out if he can...we could do worse.
