Contines on from this thread: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/2013-australian-open.985590/

I know Week 2 started but we are into the tough stuff now, Quarterfinal with tomrrow's session:

Li vs. Radwanska
Ferrer vs. Almagro
Sharapova v. Makarova

Night session:
Djokovic vs. Berdych

Coverage on Seven as always, check your local guides.

Considering Djoko's marathon last match, am seriously contemplating putting some money on Berdych.

Will sleep on it I think. Big Berd could pull it off, played the big points beautifully v. Anderson. Hmm.

re: Williams sisters v Men in previous thread - I am fairly sure the match was a lot later than 1998 or there may have been another one down here. The Williams were clearly 1-2 in the world and didn't get close to their hitting partner - a dude ranked 500 in the world or so.

Lets face it - the top women players in the world are not getting anywhere near the top 200 men, and would be borderline competitive with the top 500 - they would be slumming around the Men's tour on ITF and Challenger events at best!

Also disagree that Williams would dominate in the Graf era - have to remember there were different racquets and strings, and Justine Henin who had a similar style game was more than competitive against all the power plays of her generation.

Seeds 4 vs 6
H2H 4-5
No grunting
Good rallys

We could have an excellent match on our hands here

I'd say the serve isn't as much as a weapon in the women's game as it is in the men's, hence why service breaks are more frequent.

Great win for Na, she was playing wonderfully for most of the 2nd set.
