Would this be a Brisbane or Melbourne home game? If it's a Melb home game do we have to agree to having it in Darwin?

There would be no logical reason for it to be anything other then a Melbourne home game. Having Brisbane play a home game outside of Brisbane would be counterproductive for the AFL. Melbourne would simply be extending their current deal to play in Darwin.

I'd rage if we move a home game interstate, even if it is to Melbourne (sorry Vic based Lions fans).

so Richmond playing the saints in round 2 and Hawks playing a top 8 team from last ear (prob west coast means its down to 4 temas for round 2 at the Gabba Adelaide, Freo, GWS or Melbourne. Think it might be the Crows as when the AFL were planning the fixture it looked like Tippett would be a Lion so lions v Crows at the Gabba would be a big game for our first home game

look as a Melbourne based supporter playing Melbourne in Darwin sucks but I was not aware of this but apparently there is quite a bit of Lions support in Darwin and for exposure and branding playing a game in Darwin may be really good for the club

Round 6 to the bye could be brutal though... Swans in Sydney, West Coast at home, Essendon at Etihad, Carlton and Collingwood at home. If we can get 2 wins or more out of that batch of games we should be confident of being in the mix for finals. My gut tells me that it could be a 5 game losing streak though.

Having both Tassie and Darwin is pretty crap, but five games in Victoria is better than it could've been given the Tassie/Darwin combo. I think we'll be up there for games played at the most different stadiums next year (I'm guessing at least nine - Subiaco, Adelaide, Darwin, Tassie, Etihad, MCG, SCG, Metricon, Gabba), though GWS will always have an advantage with their three home stadiums (Edit: GWS will play at 11 different locations).

no wonder brisbane are having the week off after playing those 2 teams the away cheer squad end will have to be decontaminated pretty well thats for sure

Majorly PISSED OFF with this frigging draw...That is absolute bullshit!!!

5 games in Victoria, including 1 in Geelong. They can go & get stuffed!

I'm not one prone to outburts or controversial postings, but this really is very upsetting.
