Makes a good point. The Melbourne clubs have far too much sway in what's supposed to be a National comp. My thoughts are Norf to Hobart. Hawks to Launceston. Carltank to Darwin. Saints to Alice. Collingwood disbanded and rabid fans shot as a community service. Don't even get me started on Richmond or Dogs. Essendon left to die a natural death from lack of interest. Geelong are OK, they cop just as much shit as most non-Vic clubs.

I'd be worried if we got too many good picks. It'd be nice to have early picks but I'd rather we see some improvement and get back to finals

Just interested really in what points we might have to match bids. Assuming we keep our first pick (say 8 for arguments sake) will we have the 2nd and 3rd round picks to cover for Gulden and Campbell?

I think it’s crucial for Academy players to be matched and taken.

Gave up on Bianco, Rantall and Byrnes in order to select a player that foxfooty had rated at 78.
We could have got him with our last pick if really wanted.

Bollocks, I wanted Biggie. Fastest kid in the draft, 195 cm, jumps tall buildings in a single bound.
Reckon Tigers got one there.

I’ll just quote myself here and admit I might have gone a bit over the top. Really wanted Rantall.

Looks like an angry bloke who might be happy bashing into other midfielders and sitting at the bottom of packs. We could probably do with one of those, especially if he has good hands.

Who knows? Not me.
Needs development as he got moved around a bit from fwd-back-ruck. Maybe they had a rookie spot left, but not a senior spot.
I might go ask the aints board.

Mead would have suited our side so no. It was a genuine bid
