Bitterly disappointed. Left with a disgruntled Papley who wont give a shit about playing for us next year and a disgruntled Daniher who may bugger off somewhere else now that we have supposedly let him down.

Yeah if we offer you $1 million next year and Brisbane also do, where would you go?

I don't think Daniher fits a need or would have improved us next year.

If we don't draft him maybe it gives us a chance to keep Papley for one more year, less future salary cap squeeze and a chance to draft some good players this year to fill gaps in other positions.

Reid was our only KPF some weeks and Daniher doesn't improve us? Completely disagree.

This is the AFL. There will be trades sitting on the table ready to come out at 5 minute intervals for the last 20-15 minutes.

The grand final can be decided before the game, then the trade day may as well be too.

Seriously? So you would prefer we give two first round picks and a young player just to save face? **** that. Essendon were unreasonable with their request. There is no evidence to suggest we poached, all evidence points to Daniher wanting to come to us and instigating. We were reliant on Essendon playing ball and Daniher would have been prepared for that. If we then got Daniher and sold the farm and he copped an injury there'd be the same people on here who are saying we've embarrassed ourselves by not getting him, saying we've embarrassed ourselves by getting him.

Bombers wanted players. I think picks are overrated too, but not as much as Daniher.
