Do it this way, take Rowell, Anderson & Green out of considerations, we get the third "live" pick, only Dees & Crows pick "live" before us. A lot of very good players at "pick 3"..the Gc priority pick impacts us directly. GWS matching a pick for Green makes no difference to who we end up picking, we will get the same player whether we have pick 5 or pick 6.

throw in Cripps, Ed and Charlie and we will call it a deal.As long as you chuck in heeney, Mills and your pick 5.

Only cheaply.Would you want him at Sydney from next season on?
Aren’t any draft picks risky?Former no 2 draft pick was delisted after stints at 2 clubs for less than 100 games. Injury’s curtailed career but it shows high draft picks are just as risky as an injury prone forward who’s had a bad run of injuries.
If we take another rebounding defender with our first I will convert to rugby, or top myself - rough equivalents.Still reckon Serong and Kemp would be awesome gets but it really depends what those two rabble clubs before us do. Every chance they both want mids too and take Serong and Kemp and leave us with either the rebounding defenders in Young and Ash, or having to take a Flanders or Stephens or Robertson as a mid, all of whom I rate but I wouldn't say they've blown me away enough to make our trip down to the bottom four worthwhile.

True, but it's unlikely that a player will get a career ending or career hindering injury. Daniher already has that injury.Former no 2 draft pick was delisted after stints at 2 clubs for less than 100 games. Dees and Crows both need outside run. I don't see Serong and Kemp fitting their needs as much as Young and Ash.Do it this way, take Rowell, Anderson & Green out of considerations, we get the third "live" pick, only Dees & Crows pick "live" before us. A lot of very good players at "pick 3"
He'd be a better and fairer option than pick 30.Stay away from high ground Mikey

Our engine room needs work. We should be targeting one or two quality inside mids. Brad Crouch would be a nice addition if he's looking to get out of Adelaide. If a decent tap ruckman was in the mix I'd also take a look. I'm not convinced that Naismith will be good enough for what we need.No bloodletting yet. So maybe we are weighing up options before trading? I think we might just trade players. Jones did not ask to go home according to his camp. Papley has not requested a trade or even mentioned it according to his camp. So what is going on? Two things, media bulls**t and some skullduggery in the Swans camp I think. Putting names out with rumour and innuendo to see what happens. The Danniher talk is just that at this stage according to one source on SEN who is very much in the know.
Yes Joe is exploring options and may not be completely happy but at no time, according to three media people close to both clubs, has Sydney been actively chasing him or has he mentioned wanting to go to the Swans. So where are all the rumours coming from and whose mouth spruiks them? Sam McLure has been onto the Papley, Jones and Danniher moves all along. His SEN predictions are being quoted by most media outlets, including some who have been discussed here before.
So who are we chasing and what do we actually need?

Maybe Saints Dan McKensie might come back our way for Jones? Rebounding defender 23 years old
I didn't read it that way at all. It sounded like PR spin. Until Joe actually officially asks for a trade then Essendon will run with the line that "Joe is a contracted player and he's working hard on his rehab and he's happy with our medical staff and we fully expect him to be playing for us in 2020".Having now read Tim Watson's comments on SEN yesterday, I think the Daniher talk is fake news.
It was more of an after shockThat was all but confirmed yesterday
