A few people have stated Williams and Amiss are worth a good look at. Maybe a bit later tall pick is Aleer from Centrals? From watching the NAB league all year and the 17’s vs 19’s WA and SA games over the weekend it’s clear that the draft is weaker to previous years but there are still plenty of players worth targeting.
Jye Amiss should be our number one target at our first pick which will be around 15-20. Kicking bags in the WAFL colts and is great shot for goal. Good size at 195cm and doesn’t need much of the ball to make an impact.
Jack Williams could also be an option, probably more of a CHF than a FF as he works up the ground far more than Amiss. I’d be going after a key forward to team up with Georgiades long term as I think it’s become clear that Marshall as the number 1/2 option up forward isn’t winning us a flag. Mac Andrew, Jacob Van Rooyen are the only other kpp worth considering around our first pick but I would steer clear of both for various reasons.
As a late draft pick up, Luke Polson (196cm) from Peel Thunder is an option at either end of the ground, Zac Becker (190cm) from Sturt who reminds me of Jonas to no end and perhaps Rhett Bazzo (195cm) from Swan Districts could be valuable assets. With Burgoyne coming in as a F/S selection i wouldn’t target any outside ball users such as Judson Clarke from Dandenong, Lewis Rayson or Nasiah Wanganeen from Glenelg who although impressed throughout the year aren’t dissimilar to Burgoyne and his skill set. Also hearing Port and the Crows are both heavily interested in Arlo Draper from South, as a rangy mid/fwd could be an option, my question is if Port have say pick 17 and a top class SA midfielder such as Draper is available as it the best key forward in the draft in Amiss or Williams who would you target?
Motlop would love to play with his uncle but is a Freeo academy player. Unless we pick him inside pick 20, Freeo can and will match.A few people have stated Williams and Amiss are worth a good look at. Maybe a bit later tall pick is Aleer from Centrals?
Goater and Draper appear to be getting currency as taller mids. Is Roberts from South decent, or too slow?
Maybe Wanganeen-Milera or Motlop as lively forward types!
Rachele is interesting. lots to like but also such an incomplete player for someone touted so high. But the holes in his game could be fixed and ports is a decent fit.Rachele is my dream pick but he'll be gone by our pick.
Goater and Long are the two i'm really hoping for with our first that could be there. I feel we will go with one of Draper or Rayson however.
I haven't looked at the wa lads at all, and this draft is thin on kpp (while next years is deep) but its always good to stockpile talls!A few people have stated Williams and Amiss are worth a good look at. Maybe a bit later tall pick is Aleer from Centrals?

Goater would be good get, however his stocks are on the rise and he will go earlier (prob in top10). Draper is more likely around the mark at late first round early 2nd however not sure if he's a pure mid, bit of forward/ part mid.
Mid for sure. From watching the NAB league all year and the 17’s vs 19’s WA and SA games over the weekend it’s clear that the draft is weaker to previous years but there are still plenty of players worth targeting.
