Any injury is bad because it opens up a change in the best 22 not based on play.

Ordinary thing to post.TBH he was probably the best player in the 22 it could happen to. Sorry Bobcat.
Why? He's a vfl specialist, that's his level, he'll go back down and crush it then come back into the seniors and we'll repeat the cycle of being mystified why it didn't carry over.Agree Yoda - Thought he would perform better after his good form in the VFL.

I dunno, I know I'm probably in the minority but I like it when he's selected - he adds a real physicality and effort.
Granted 13 touches and 4 tackles ain't world beating stuff, but I just think he adds something at this stage when we're struggling to find mids that can/will run both ways
Langford and Mutch should be getting games instead of Stanton and Howlett.
Or Parish? Can we please not give this guy another game. I like his effort, but he's slow, lacks polish & decision making ability. Thanks for your service, Benny. It's time for Mutch, Ridley, Begley to get opportunities ahead of Howlett.
Or Parish?
They keep picking Howlett to play so we already know which one they would keep if they had to pick. They probably prefer his ability to play a number of roles.Thought this was the worst of his 4 or 5 games in 2017 - Question is whether EFC keep Howlett or Bird on the list for 2018.
