Imagine trolling as an Essendon supporter, how sad

To be fair, Essendon copped a much more difficult draw than Carlton. It’s tough but fair

You’d cry with laughter if the saints got the best coach of the AFL era? That’s weird…
The bloke can't string two sentences together. It'll be awesome to watch his pressers. Why'd you think Hawthorn rushed him out the door for a guy who's never coached before?

A top 4 side would have made a statement and smashed the Saints (no offence) contenders don't lose these games
Really? Pretty sure the biggest contenders just recently lost 3 in a row. Blues haven't done that this year.
Any team can lose any game on any given week. Otherwise the best team for the year would just go undefeated all the way to the flag.
Saints and Freo games were both 50/50. We were probably more likely to win the Saints game and underdogs for Freo. Came out of those games 1-1.

Saints are a big Jekyll and Hyde team, but too good to lose 4 in a row. They had really good inclusions. We had bad skills, bad running, bad goal kicking, but still probably could've won.

Turning point for me was the non free to Kennedy in the middle of the ground with a few minutes left in the 3rd. Tied game, arm chop, play on, goal to Saints. Then they get another quick one to take all the air out of it.

Anyway, on to next week and hopefully we get Weitering back, followed by a few more in the coming weeks.

Hopefully the three Saints players are alright.

The umpiring was a real concern. It appeared blatantly one sided so the question is can something be done about it ?
Yes, a different directive can come from the AFL that asks umpires to only pay real frees, not invent them for just one side, like they did tonight for Carlton to try and get them over the line, or like they do every week for the Dogs, although that was waaay over done in the 2016 GF

Tbf this was an understrength Carlton side. Just wait until they get Matt Owies back.
Yeah how’s talking up of their injured players, apart from weitering and probably Williams the rest are basically plodders.

The best being Mitch McGovern.
Done absolutely jack s**t in his time at Carlton, has a couple ok games in the pre season/early rounds as an unaccountable intercept defender and all of a sudden is now a vital cog sorely missed by the blues lol

Pittonet was actually one of the prime reason why Cripps was as dominant as he was at the start of the year. Definitely no "plodder" considering how important he was to the midfield group.

Carlton fan saying the turn of the game was an umpire decision. Outrageous

The AFL has done Carlton a disservice giving them the easiest draw in the comp and then fixturing their ‘challenging games’ towards the end of the season. They look spooked and don’t know how to handle top 12 teams.

Real danger signs for the blues
We just beat Freo, who have been sitting top 4 most of the year, while missing 4 best 22 players and having a backline anchored (pun intended) by 30 odd gamer Lewis Young and 5-6 gamer Brodie Kemp.
We should get Weitering back next week and then hopefully Pittonet not long after, and Williams and McGovern before finals.

We've played 8 top 12 teams and beaten 5.

You noted a turning point regarding the umpires. I’m puzzled. How many turning points do you think went your way tonight ?
