Shat the bed?..

Pfffft..

More like they didnt deserve to be in the 8 in the first place..

But its fxxkn hilarious coming from a Blues supporter..

what’s more likely the case is that the Blues played their Grand Final tonight.. they’ll make the 8 and get bundled out in R1 of the finals…

It would be the Carlton thing to do..
Six in a row and the two top teams amongst them, no logic in your post what so ever, but i love the sour grapes it's what we're here for.

Carltons bottom six easily better than the Pies bottom six.
It should be the blues have had hundreds more first round picks to collect talent being bottom of ladder. The pies are top of ladder with battler’s and players who couldn’t get a game at other clubs Mitchell lipinski markov cox adams frampton etc and old stars who are past there prime so they’ll have to bring in more young talents asap.

After what Carlton has done this last fortnight, imagine if they beat the Saints, needing to only win one more game to make finals, but they lose to Melbourne and Gold Coast, so it comes down to the Giants game and they lose… by a kick. BigFooty would go into meltdown.
Yeah… just imagine … quite the story teller.

Sour grapes??..

What?.. Towards Carlton? Or Carlton supporters?..

Bahahahaha.. that has to be the funniest thing ever written on this site..

Carlton have won a few games in a row and knocked off a couple of the top 4 sides in the process..

So fxxkn what. Havent achieved anything yet. They are just as likely to collapse in another heap more than anything else at this point.

Sheesh.. you’d think after the last 20 years of the utter garbage Carlton have dished up their supporters would be just a bit more humble and reserved after finally putting together a few good wins in a row…

You should know what collapsing in a heap looks like :)

It just shows what intensity and pressure can do even with an undermanned team
Spot on …….. bring the heat with a sprinkling of confidence, unity and system and you’ve got a very dangerous team. Loved what the Blues did last night and I’ve always felt it would click at some point. I don’t subscribe to this being the Blues GF and I don’t subscribe to the Pies falling over running into the finals.
It makes for a very even finals series!!

Humble in a Carlton Collingwood thread lol, what planet have you just arrive from and JFYI we will celebrate every win the same. Now back to your sour grapes and your ordinary team.

VFL team?
Walsh def missed.
Kennedy..not sure he’s starting 22 due to pace if Cripps, Hewitt both fit.
McKay..does Curnow play better without him,
Silvagni is in and out of VFL team.
I’d say you had between 18-20 of your best 23. Hardly a VFL side out there.

Walsh
Cerra for most of game
Mckay
Kennedy
JSOS
Boyd
Durdin
Williams

Almost half a side. All best 22.

Cerra a first half was amazing!
Lay off Daicos was very close to having a 30 possesion 3 goal game, he is a star.

Jack Martin has genuine X factor I hope he can keep playing and go into finals with some strength and fitness.
It’s usually the dees vs pies game day thread every week with those special 🤡 campaigners running from thread to thread to hate on daicos calling him soft or squibbing to sly troll. They get away with it cos they post one nice post after three hate posts to break it up so it looks like they not trolling which doesn’t fool me but they so jealous like a child cos they think it’s not fair daicos is more talented and better than Oliver and trac. This week is extra special with the blues joining in but they probably all hangover this morning from celebrating a round 20 win.

Morning after and congrats to Vossy and the boys on a well deserved win.
Was a scrappy game but they took their chances.
Collingwood clearly played their GF last week, missed most of their opportunities in starc contrast to last week, in fact, couldnt kick a habit.
We softened them up, showed the blueprint and Carlton, who needed the W finished them off.
Its ok though, im sure it was a meaningless game and despite the L are still top 2.....like us.

So we wake up the morning after and it's exactly as expected.

Disappointed with the loss but our hard work has been done and we remain at least a game and percentage on top of the ladder.

Meanwhile, you'd think Carlton had won the flag or eliminated Collingwood from the finals series the way some of the Carlton folk are carrying on.

But I guess it is their biggest win in two decades.
Reality is you got smashed, just got over the line against Port, lost to Melbourne and also Lions early in the year. You’re not that good, not against the teams around you anyway.

And by the way, you were at full strength and we were nowhere near it.

Lachie Fogarty was looking a certainty to be delisted at the start of the season. But he worked his tail off in the VFL and now looks like a new revitalised player since returning to the seniors and definitely will get a new contract.

Cottrell does his job too.

Collingwood do have a fantastic bottom 6 too, but it's the improvement of our bottom 6 players like the ones I mentioned that have really made a difference and contribution in our winning streak.

This is what good coaches too (bring out the best out of fringe players)

Oh look… end of the day.. all us Afl footy supporters are just happy Carlton supporters can finally join the rest of us in enjoying watching footy.. even if it is for the first time this century for them..

Not that meaningless. Carlton got into their heads.
That will give them something to think about moving forward
The Pies played their big game last week. Even if the Blues do make the finals they will have to get through Port or Brisbane away in order to get Collingwood again in September. It was a nothing win, it just helps their finals chances, it doesn't improve their standing much at all as far the flag is concerned. Carlton will have to win a final interstate in order to do that. Collingwood were awful last night and the Blues just caught them at the right time. They have a tough run home and all of those games are 50/50.

Last night was the Pies Grand Final and they lost. Had a full 22. Against an old Rival on a tear and they broke under the pressure. Embarrassing McStay and Mihocek should be playing in the VFL.

You realise your posting this out loud and not inside your head as not one agrees with you right? Do you feel entitled because you have hundreds of first round picks because you been bottom of the ladder for twenty years?

Can't deny the form of Carlton . Pretty sure a lot of teams stood up and took a bit of notice last night.
I guess with every win , Carlton are just getting their opponents at the right time from now on. It's a throw away comment and very dismissive of what the Blues have produced over the last month or so.

Gotta feel for poor Nick, lads a gun but just doesnt get the help he needs when its not going his way, its almost like they just expect him to give them silver service time and time again.
I fear that it'll be like Danger at Adelaide where he does the lifting whilst the other mids get lazy which exposes them when he's well held or having an off patch like 7 of the last 8 qtrs.
Its an awful lot of pressure to put on a kids shoulders when he doesnt have the body or bullish nature of a Dangerfield to cover those moments.

Its a long season and only going to get harder when finals kick off, Collingwood will need him to be firing if they are to go all the way, personally I think his tank is draining fast and could you really blame him in only his 2nd season.

Dont buckle now Nick, the Pie army needs you.
Do. Not. Buckle.

I more or less said the same thing but they don’t want to hear it. Blues are gonna have to beat Port or Brissy on their home deck if they want to take a shot at the Magpie army. It’s a tough ask, don’t think they’re up to it yet. Maybe next year if they can play more than just half a season of good footy they can crack the top four and be a serious contender.
