At first I thought it was a suplex but the sim of a duplex is to drive the head / neck into the ground.

When you saw the replay it was the reverse - he smaller his feet / legs into the ground.

You've described a pile driver, the tackle was a suplex but it was created by Mihocek's actions, so good call from the ump.

I'm getting sick and tired of Pendles, Daicos and Mihocek lunging forward into other player and throwing the head back, or even holding their head to milk a free when their head wasn't even touched. It's a bad look for the game. Thankfully the umps didn't fall for it. But Fly chose not to coach it out of Ginnivan and he's becoming the Selwood of coaches imo.

• good defence but nothing else, even then were lucky, more hung on like desperate amateurs. Just like the Melbourne game.
• gws far and away the better team after qt time but made crucial mistakes.
• pies didn't have any blunders can't possibly play better.
• Daniels off for concussion protocols, no mention of JDG off for the last 8 mins.
• No mention of Cox off for a jumper change, for memory didn't get back on.

None the less, the Pies are sh*t and every other finalist is outstanding.

I guess maybe the giants fatigued in the last, but you'd have to pay homage to that seemingly impervious defence.

Rewatched the last 6 minutes today and the only 50/50 free not paid was Moores in the middle. Could've be a high tackle but not paid. Fair enough.

I couldn't see any missed frees to Gws in the last 6 minutes.
