Nah, we monstered the competition in 2021. Had 5 All Australians that year, this year we probably have none and we're still in the Top 4.

Like to pay special mention to Bedford's effort of GWS with 2.14 seconds to go in game when he copped a decent hit from McVee from the Dees when he courageously flew with flight of ball, not knowing what was coming the other way. He then he got straight up from the hit and put a great tackle on Lever who got pressured handball to Brayshaw whom Bedford made another great effort to put him under pressure as Brayshaw then kicked a scrubbing ball to Salem of which Bedford made another tremendous effort to pressure his kick. The guy gets no possessions but his combined efforts in that one play was a outstanding achievement.... kudos to you young man.

well he has a point. After you beat the Pies by 4pts there were plenty happy to declare them new flag favorites (despite no De Goey, Sidebottom or Elliot). Since then you haven't given a yelp and players look like they couldn't give a s**t. As for the Covid cup, the poor buggers you ran down had played in four different states in the 4 week lead up while you mob were lying by a pool in perth. no one takes that flag seriously as Dees form since has validated.

Wasn’t all just sun-baking. Pretty sure we thumped Geelong (the reigning premiers) and Brisbane in that four week period too.
