Where the new extension takes place. At the moment the extension would take place on land owned by Port and land owned by the council. That's messy. Imagine building an extension to your house on your neighbour's land.Where is the land that we own that we are donating back?
If you listen closely they are declaring a perceived conflict of interest as required under the relevant Local Government Act, and most councillors are saying they declare it but they don't believe its a material conflict that stops them doing their duties. As one of the last councillors said, they are a member but not an officeholder of the club so they don't believe they have a material conflict of interest. Its just legal process.Does anyone not have a conflict?
