The whole idea of picking up Higgins would be to replace Ablett - win or lose the GOAT won't be there next year.

To suggest winning a Grand Final means they'll take the foot off the accelerator regarding improving their squad for next year is rubbish. If they wanted him an hour ago they'll want him an hour from now even if they're the premiers.
