As much as Holland might be a step backwards, they’re pretty limited in options. Swepson was useless and then what?

Pitches that require two spinners are a massive concern for us, we have Lyon who is serviceable and the rest are pretty garbage.

If Head is going to play, Maxwell as a second spinner is kind of redundant. Don't need two part time right arm offspinners.

If Head is fit will play instead of Maxwell,Kuhneman instead of Swepson.

Yeah it’s a tough one, really the problem is we don’t have a viable second spinner, not long ago we didn’t even have a viable first spinner I guess.

it's a gamble regardless of which of our 2nd spinner options are playing.

Head not playing doesn't really worry me in Sri Lanka, if he misses it could be a blessing as he ain't a great player of spin.

Interested to see how he can go on a pitch that will offer him significantly more than what he got in Pakistan. He will bowl some rubbish, but his good balls should be threatening.

I think it would harsh if Swepson is dropped for the test.

The pitches in pakistan provided nothing .....and our fielding was terrible costing Swepson a few wickets.

Conditions here favour the spin lets find out what he has got in this test......if he stuffs up then change for me for the 2nd
