This probable washout makes the Heat's win on Thursday even more important with just 8 games remaining after tonight. It sucks for Strikers fans who won't get a game to attend tonight and now have 4 home games left weather permitting.

My son is so dissapointed. To lose a home game with the reduced season doesn't leave to many opportunities to see the team you follow.

Well think of this way, the Adelaide Strikers even if tonight get rained out- still have a further 4 fixtures at Adelaide Oval.

Sydney Sixers get exactly 4 home games at the SCG this season, Stars get exactly 4 home games this season at the MCG, Renegades get exactly 4 home games at the Marvel this stadium

So 5 games in their home state?

Where do the Sixers play the Thunder and the Renegades play the Stars?
SCG and MCG . They were never going to take the derbies away from their traditional grounds. And plus fixturing wise they were always going to be playing each other twice in a reduced season of 40 games.

BBL have adopted a similar AFL draw format where they play every team at least once, and play three teams twice.
