Re: Never let the truth get in the way for channel 10

lol the guy deserves everything he gets. He has thrown away something we would all love (very good professional athlete and heaps of money). Maybe if he knew what the real world was like working 50 hours a week at a job you don't like he wouldn't be such an idiot.

I actually agree with you, he's now had enough chances to realise his god given talent and appreciate it but he's now too dumb and arrogant to repair his failings.
**** off Fev, you are an idiot that is now clogging up a list and taking the place of someone that really wants it

His justification for switching from ponies to poker is very worrying.

Warning signs...shifting from one vice to another.

He's gone

This.
I'm very sympathetic to him because of his addictions and his depression but after this, I'm not convinced about his commitment to kicking the gambling

The fact he doesn't realise that poker is part of the problem is astounding. He said he thinks it's not a bad thing to play poker but then said later that smokers have relapses.

Fev can't determine between wrong and right because he doesn't know which is which!

Will not play football this year I hope. Just get yourself right first...

Feel bad for the bloke. Hope he still gets a go in the VFL. He should sign up for that list at this point though, I think, just to give the Scorpions or whoever a sign of faith.

I hope this furthers people awareness and acceptance of mental health, it is a massive, absolutely massive problem in this country and its despicable the amount of people who are condemned for openingly admitting depression and self esteem issues.

I'd be depressed if i owed the bookies 200k, and damned sure i would be calling the mental health card, to keep my 1 mil a year cushy football job alive, because i always **** up on the piss.

Some of the bleeding hearts on here, should save a prayer for the poor folk who are recovering from terrible car crashes and life threatening illness. They are the real people who need a chop out.

Fev and his failed cafe owes the electrician who wired it up around 30k, for work he has completed. But lets hit the tables eh !

who cares???????? you all need to mind ur own business when it comes to peoples personal lives and stop feeding journos with huge egos trying to get their name out there

Great move by the media (aka: Herald Sun) to swarm all over this BIG BREAKING NEWS STORY OMG OMG FEV PLAYED POKER OMG OMG OMG WE GOT HIM WE GOT HIM!

 If Cuz was caught on camera having a relapse of his own, would they break the news? No way.

Let the man live. He's clearly struggling. Get him support and get him back on field. It's not news. It's the guy's private life that he's clearly struggling with. Leave him.

So this entire Crown Casino/asked to leave epic saga basically boils down to:

"Man trying to quit addiction falls off wagon"

Yep, that's earth shattering news. Definitely stop the presses over that one.

Yep. Herald Sun very sharp again. Can't get past them. No - you literally can't. This Big Brother style coverage of footy/any semi-famous person is beyond laughable.

Normally I would agree with this sentiment but I reserve my sympathy for people that don't lay their lives bare on national TV for 30k.
