Bulldogs CEO David Stevenson resigns

No debt, good facilities, still can't attract any players to your club. LOL

But but but they got Chris Yarran to the club, who was supposed to be the panacea to all the clubs problems. Even before his struggles off the field, he was never going to be the answer.

Western have a reputation of celebrating individuals and being a boys club.

And north don't?

When's the next commemorative Guernsey coming out?
Plodder Petrie got one, spud Firrito next after boomer's double dip?

North have bought out two Guernseys specifically for boomer in the space of 30 games. Celebrating individuals

Why wouldn't he see the year out and give them time to look for, or even assist in finding, his replacement?
He's meant to be a Bulldogs person at the end of the day. If he can't work with the people there, fine, but don't take it out on the club who is clearly in need of as much off-field support it can get.

A lot of people will point the finger at Gordon but it's just as likely this guy was the problem.

CEOs of large companies only really care about themselves at the end of the day.

Seems Gordon has an in-house replacement. White anted? Is the replacement a yes man?

You forgot the special jumper we wore a couple of weeks ago the celebrated our premiership heros who were having their reunion that night. Not that you would know about those.

Serious question, do you blokes have anyone that is alive to celibrate yours?

Regarding Stevenson
It is understood the relationship between Stevenson and his highly influential chairman Peter Gordon had become difficult and played a key part in Stevenson's departure.

Early reports say the Dogs have accepted Stevenson’s resignation following a breakdown of a working relationship with president Peter Gordon, who is the only club chairman to have an office at his club.

Regarding Garlick
McClure told Gerard Healy and Dwayne Russell that "administrative chaos" at the club in recent months had raised eyebrows at AFL house and led to officials approaching the club.

"That led to tension between (president) Peter Gordon and Garlick," McClure said.

"As I understand it, Peter Gordon told the club he was scaling down his business ventures and would be playing a much more hands on role in season 2015."

Similar sounding issues in the space of 18 months - one common factor.

Sounds very much like a bad case of the micromanaging boss syndrome.... Have you ever noticed how some people want to “touch” everything which is being done on a project, even if it has nothing to do with them? Gordon obviously believes it has everything to do with him. So how can anyone do the job he has hired them to do? The Dogs have improved on field, that started years ago under McCartney, but he got the arse, now off field things are still crook. 2 CEO's gone in as many years spells trouble in the top office. Wiping off a $10 million debt won't be easy and will take considerable time and patience.

I suppose they could hire this man? Nothing else appears to be getting done at the kennel?

If you get absolutely burned, and have nothing to respond with. (Just as you have here) If all else fails bring up the amount of premierships won. #BigFootyLogic

I wonder what their banner will say this week. ;)

This is an opportunity for the Cats cheer squad if ever I saw one.

We won't take though - too nice down at Kardinia Park.
Finals are fast approaching
We need to go 5 and O
We can't lose as many games
As we have CEO's

Ha, MoC tried to paint North as celibrating individuals while completely ignoring we had just celibrated team success, less than a month ago.

Bigfooty logic, Why tell the whole story when half the facts are good enough.

You tried to paint the Bulldogs the same, without actually giving an example.

I shut down your s**t troll and you are now floundering

No, you made the comment about "Western celebrating individuals"
And MOC pointed out your club worn a commemorative Guernsey numerous times for Boomer. Also worn one for Petrie's 300th game and will do so for Firrito. Your club celebrates individuals as much as anyone.

Cringeworthy stuff isn't it?
