Three curtain raisers, five games at Ikon, four games at Preston, but only one through the middle of the year (thank fu**).

Swans Sign Talented Trio
Swan Districts Football Club has signed a talented trio from the Northern Blues; Sam Fisher, Frank Anderson and Deven Costigan. The three boys will add a wealth of experience to the playing stock and provide leadership to the list of emerging young talent.www.swandistrictsfc.com.au
Strange that we’ve only listed these as our players for 2020; pre-season should be well underway
2020 playing list
Returning: Mason Blakey, Kieran Collins, Tom Wilson
New Blues: Jake Bartholomaeus, Jordan Cunico, Cody Hirst
**Wheeler, Quirk, A.Johnson, JOR, Hill, Keppel etc?
A lot of the signings will be completed late.
Just the way they've been doing it the last few years. A lot of players must either be trialling or need to hit certain pre-season markers. Why is that, d’ya reckon?
Doesn’t help any club for pre-season training & preparations.
Thought most would have be signed up now ala Collingwood’s raft of signings, including Jesse Palmer.
The Club has welcomed Clint Proctor (line coach) and Chad Owens (Head of Development) to the fold, while retaining Perry Meka in a new role (Operations and Relationship Manager).
These new additions – along with the existing staff – is a boost for the VFL Blues, with players and coaches alike feeling optimistic for the upcoming season.

You can add Hirst to that list as well, was picked up by Sydney in the mid season draft last year. Not sure of the quality of the NEAFL, but probably worth a look.
Interesting that we've taken an approach this year of drafting players who have displayed massive upside over the past year or so, with Philp and Ramsay. Bartholomaeus looks to be another in that category.
