General admin is sold out as of earlier tonight.
Move this blockbuster to the G and send the tiges to marvel.Just tried to get tickets....All sold out...
If we're going to progress, and I'm keeping in mind he's 18 years old, Sheezel needs to play mid/forward. We need to get the backline sorted but we need the creative players playing forward not covering because of inefficient defenders. I'll be happy with the midfield mix in about 12 months barring injury. Everything else I agree with. Thomas has to come in. He's needed.Corr would be in for hall, essentially the changes at the top of this page
B: Corr McKay Ziebell
HB: McDonald Logue Bergman
With Powell rotating back there also
Sheezel could still also rotate back there for stints if the ball isn’t going in the front half
TT in for spicer/Drury can also play back there

I suspect after Saturdays effort this is where he’ll play more often than not now.If we're going to progress, and I'm keeping in mind he's 18 years old, Sheezel needs to play mid/forward.
Johnson would win most one on ones against jackMcreery is faster than anyone on our list - he’ll destroy Jack
Jack can pick up Johnson
If I've heard one person say it, I've heard 100 people say it ... "Spicer was lively"
What does "lively" even mean?
I think it means he ran around a lot.
Spicer provided pressure in the way a fly provides pressure - mildly annoying, but easily swatted away.
He barely made a tackle stick
When he got the ball, which was rarely, he immediately gave it off to his nearest team-mate
He did run around a lot though, and at a speed that not many of our players are able to run around.
He was certainly lively.
I like Spicer, and I hope he makes it. But he's not even close to best 22 at this point.
No way you can drop Ford after today
You must have missed the cats premiership backline no real quick rebounders but plenty of height to interceptLet's be honest, the backline mentioned above could be vying for the slowest in AFL history. If I was the Pies I would be targeting Jack's man as much as possible because he isn't athletic enough and he plays off his man.
Tell me what he does except chase.

Other than an ageing touhy they are much slower than our defence

Bergman and McDonald would be quicker than themStewart, Thouy and Bews would be quicker than any of our rebounders except Hall.
I wouldn’t bring TT in this week - a full house of pie fans booing him might destroy himTT on Mcreery?
You're funny mate. Quick look at AFL tracker and Geelongs first game of the year, Bews clocked 35 km/h. Stewart was clocked at 33.1 in the Freo game.Bergman and McDonald would be quicker than them
The only thing McDonald is quicker at is ruffling a team mates hair…Bergman and McDonald would be quicker than them
Is there an easy way to see how close to fully ticketed GR? I'm fair and square in the no extra money to other clubs category nowadays if I can help it.
Young and tucker will be back this weekOK, we lost in bizarre circumstances. Two goals up with 4 minutes to go, nothing really new there.
But I'm all over the positives - Wardlow in and impactful and looks great. Sheez, rolled gold. Fordy stepping up. Can we finally just play the kids, with Ziebull (excellent season), Shiel (inspiring the boys) and LMAC busting his arse every minute on the field. Luke will never be a silky footballer. He is defending his arse off and the hoof for distance we can accept. I'd say he's playing to his strengths.
I want the kids rolled through and it seems the coaches do too.
Love to see Kallan get a turn, interesting to find out he was emgerency on Saturday. Bonus of rolling kids through is we are better in the Ones, but with experienced players in the Twos we are better there too.
I want the ones to blood kids and we'll be more competitive, and the Twos to play finals, Cunners to finish on the VFL podium holding the cup high!
Ones:
FB: Logue McKay Ziebell
HB: LMAC - Bergman - Howe
C: Scott - Warlow - Ford
HF: Stevo - Powell - Sheez
FF: CCJ - Larkey - Zurharr
Rks: Goldy - Simpkin - Phillips
Int: Shiel - Spicer - Curtis - Hugh
Sub: Cooper
Kallan - Corr - Perez
Lienert - Hall - Davis
Taylor - Cunners - TT
Butler - Turner - Drury
Edwards - Lowson - Sellers
Free - Watkins - Laz
Int: Stevens - Butler - Hope - Bath - Downie
Injured - Mahony, X, LDU, Charlie, Goat, Young, Georgey, Tucker, Arch
yeah, he's been clocked at 32.6 this year.Tuohy is hardly slow. He's their Aaron Hall but harder and more reliable by foot. Very much a rebounder.
It won't be fully ticketed (nothing announced). They'll have GA access but unless your membership has away access, you'll still need to buy a GA ticket. Is there an easy way to see how close to fully ticketed GR?
