This could be a tougher game than many expect. I have no doubt that Collingwood will play some tough, committed football, at least in the first half.

We need to get the right mix travelling east. Who do people expect to be coming in and out?

In: Seaby (if fit)/Graham, Wooden, Wirrpunda (if fit)/Selwood/Matera
Out: Staker, Braun, Judd (?)

Is Seaby fit?

Even if Seaby is still underdone, Staker doesn't deserve a spot. Bring Graham in instead.

Judd and Braun are in limbo at the moment. I'd rest Braun even if he was right to play and give Wooden a run.

If Wirrpunda is right to play he'll get a recall. If Judd gets rubbed out and Wirrpunda is not yet right, then Selwood or Matera should come back in.

How far away is McDougall?

You would say Judd is a goner so he will be out (only 1 week hopefully) - Brauny might be 50/50 and Wirrpunda and Seaby may be tested. But Matera will be back and better for having a rest - Also Selwood could come back in. I hope the boys dont start reading the headlines about themselves coz this is a MASSIVE danger game for us. We would be the laughing stock of the AFL if we lose this week - People will be all over us on bigfooty if we dropped it. Saying "Eagles cant play in Melbourne" - Oh boy I hope not! - But we should win and comfortably by 6 or 7 goals I say. I am going over to Melbourne for the game and would love to see the boys win. Havent been to a game where we won since we beat the Bulldogs in round 1 last year. Long time between drinks. Plus I can imagine those ferals at the ground if they beat us they wont stop giving us ********.

Why would Matera be better for the rest? The one thing he's lacking in is match practice, he needs as many games under his belt as possible.

I see judd got himself reported so he didnt have to face being destroyed by rhyce shaw again.

Ahh well there always next time rhycey.

Who do we bring in for Judd people, Selwood or Wooden - For mine Wooden gets the nod at the moment he is more experienced and he is in better form.

out: Judd, Staker

in: Seaby, Matera

I'd be looking to give maybe Sampi a quick run on the ball early to try get his confidence up.

anyone know the whereabouts of Waters?

Wirrpunda to come back in aswell, would like to see adkins go back to the wafl for a few weeks has had a chance and done a few good things but not enough to keep his spot would like to see wooden get given his chance.

In:Seaby,Wirrpunda,Matera
Out:Staker,Adkins,Butler

Judd and/or Braun might miss as well so if 1 of them miss then Butler stays in.If both miss then Adkins and Butler stay in.

Out - Judd, McConnell and Staker

In - Wirra, Seaby and Matera

McConnell and Selwood are unlucky but Atkins may miss for one of these as he has not had a lot of match time (might get one more though as it is agaist his old side)

Wouldnt suprise me if Le Cras gets a game sometime this season as well

I reckon that would need one of those mini-tornadoes hitting training for that to happen

I notice a lot of you want McConnell out of the side.Come on the boy's played 1 game and did alright.Should get another chance.

Like Nicoski recently, will probably get sent back to the WAFL because of injured players coming back in.

Will be good for his motivation though as it has gives him the taste of the big time

i think its very doubtful he will be dropped back this week especially since juddy copped the week. im not sure if seaby will come straight back in as he has missed a few weeks now. If he does play though you'd think the obvious omission would be staker.

out: juddy adkins

in: matera wirrapunda

Now Judd is rubbed out that makes his omission definite. I think we could see something like this:

OUT: Judd, Braun, Staker, Adkins
IN: Matera, Wirrpunda, Seaby, Wooden

Bold = definite

There are still question marks over the fitness of Seaby and Wirrpunda. In the event of these guys missing, I would expect Selwood and/or Graham to be included in the squad.

There could be a lot of changes this week.

From what i have seen, Le Cras he has been in the best players at WP all season as a HFF

Woosha has a history of rewarding good form so you never know

Espicially when you consider that Sampi and Matera arent exactly setting the world on fire at the moment

Why? He's already been brought in to the team and dropped twice already, despite performing better than a number of others, which he did again in the last two matches. Dropping him AGAIN would do absolutely nothing for his motivation, if he gets dropped again it would be a complete joke.

Nicoski is playing well.
Agreed. He played first game in a while last week and was of our best collecting almost 20 possies around the half back line.Him and Wirrpunda will be near on unstoppable playing together.
