I would like to see Anthony given a go. Mellington and Viv have been going alright and are quite built compared to Pitt.

Screw the dust settling - If Johnson plays next week I will go ape shit. Seriously providing nothing to the team!

Crichton is still a mile ahead of all our other smalls in the WAFL. Griffin and Anthony are the in form talls. I don't know that anyone else is worth considering.

Any midfielder deserving a game replaces Pitt he is just not ready YET.
Pearce didnt do much but tried hard, not much defensive pressure, so surely Walters is a better option since something always good happens when he has ball.

Fyfe seemed ok when he came back on, but looked worried about contact going for marks an ran under the ball avoiding contact.
Ballas didnt look happy about being subbed so he may be ok
Broughton really looked to be struggling with a leg or back related problem all game.
Looked very uncomfortable when moving.

You would almost say that you would prefer Schammer to Palmer at the moment. At least Schammer can give you some of that midfield pressure we were missing tonight and which Palmer gives us nothing of.

Pitt was ordinary and made some poor decisions. Had a chance to spoil a mark by Vickery I think and just didn't bother - a function of being a skinny runt.

I would say Crichton for Palmer and maybe Mitchie or Mellington for Balla and/or Pitt.

We really don't need Roberton, we have enough running defenders (Duffman, Broughton, Ibbo)
Palmer one last chance. Surely if he was ever to find some form it would be against Eagles.
Mcphee to the backline. Anthony full forward. Crowley on Priddis only because Priddis is slow so it gives Crowley a chance.
Harvey likes to debut players in the Derby, and im liking the look of Michie.
Id really like to see Griffen given a run, but I can't see where he fits in. Unless we bring him in instead of Anthony, leaving Kepler FF all day and rotating the ruckman.

McPhee SHOULD NOT!!!!!!! be sent back!! Don't we remember why he was sent forward in the first place? His decision making and kicking out of the backline can really kill us, he has been serviceable as a forward and should continue to play there!

Yep i remember how bad he was there last year, but he was also that bad up forward and everywhere else they tried him.

So its either try him down back again or drop him.
Its harsh dropping him coz he tries so hard an puts body on line but his impact isnt enough to continue playing him there.

How does that help him kick better?
That just adds more pressure.
Simply needs to just stop thinking so much, spend more time practicing.
The simpler u make it an the more u repeat it, the easier it becomes.

I hate to drop Chopper but we need to make a statement and Jack is a proven set shot specialist at AFL level.MJ can stay at WAFL level indefinitely whilst Rhys needs a month there to regain his confidence.Play Walters in place of Mayne and slot Viv in where we can fit.The newbies always debut well in Derbies...

Scarey, but fair comment.

I am confused as to why we recruited Anthony. He doesn't seem to be cover for Pavlich, which was the assumption. Bradley is playing well, but there is plenty of room for JA up there. And after them we have a cluster of medium-talls in Mayne and MacPhee who struggle to score goals. I like all those players, but it ain't working.
