For that matter why didn't Jay Nash, Darren Pfeiffer and Danny Meyer get more games at Port? What does Dumont need to get a game? I really feel for the guy and thought hes had something to offer in the last month. If we're going for a flag, why not play these mature age players with AFL experience? Same thing with Sam Mayes, I never understood why we never played these versatile players more often that you knew could be depended on to do a job.
These are vanilla, break glass in emergency type players to plug temporary holes. In most other cases, you should be playing up and coming potentials that could nail down roles, such as Jones, Williams, Farrell, etc. What does Dumont need to get a game? You mean vanilla like Riley generic as they come Bonner? These are vanilla, break glass in emergency type players to plug temporary holes. In most other cases, you should be playing up and coming potentials that could nail down roles, such as Jones, Williams, Farrell, etc.
There's no future for Dumont in our side, he would understand that. He's likely quite chuffed to be paid so well to run around in the snafl

Says who? I can't find any mention of this anywhere outside of your post.Sloane out with a calf apparently.
Dumont is better than Bonner. Playthekids76 your thoughts? You mean vanilla like Riley generic as they come Bonner?
In the games Dumont played last year he showed composure and was decent going forward. All I'm saying is we've been rotating the same mature age players in and out (Bonner, Narkle) by rewarding their form in the 2s. Going off Dumonts stats this whole season, you'd think he'd at least get a sniff

You do realise Bonner and Dumont play completely different roles, right? If we play Dumont it's at the expense of Rozee, Butters, JHF or Wines. You mean vanilla like Riley generic as they come Bonner?

I'm sure he could've played the mead role v Carlton with much more effectiveness. From what I remember, he was on the wing for duurs in the games he played last year and was one of the better performers who didn't shit the bedYou do realise Bonner and Dumont play completely different roles, right? Yes to Houston to Midfield, No to Bonner for RunI'd bring in Williams into the back 6 and play Houston in the middle. Wines or Boak to sub. I'd consider Bonner too for some outside run
If he leaves it will because he wants to return to Victoria,When did he do his knee? What round would we expect him to be able to play?
Not against the idea... Imagine $$ he wouldn't be to expensive (injury) and don't need to give up any draft capital
The added bonus is the crows getting upset![]()
Heard it yesterday on SEN. Can't remember who said it though.Says who? I can't find any mention of this anywhere outside of your post.
Our wings were hopeless last week X is not right and it is rubbish playing Wines on the other wing. You do realise Bonner and Dumont play completely different roles, right? If we play Dumont it's at the expense of Rozee, Butters, JHF or Wines.
I would like to see him get a run for sure.Bring in Hugh Jackson, he would love the intensity. He would get under the skin of some crowies.
Throwing players into a different position when they are in dominant AA form is a hard no from me.Yes to Houston to Midfield, No to Bonner for Run
No current season stats available
Heard it again today. He was spotted at a radiology practice with a compression bandage around his calf.Says who? I can't find any mention of this anywhere outside of your post.
He’s just old. Reckon they will announce his new contract tomorrow.Heard it again today. He was spotted at a radiology practice with a compression bandage around his calf.
