He definitely does it less now it doesn't get called as often.

Geelong this year are worse than they were in 2021, and nowhere near their 2022 form. I expect a win.
I never thought of him as a tough little bastard but he is. Always thought he was an outside type.

Yeah same here, not sure if he even played like this at the Dogs. Personally I've been super impressed with the work ethic and commitment from both him and Grundy out on the ground.

One of the interesting parts of last night was Port playing a mid-sized half-back flanker (Bergman) on Cameron – Bergman absolutely towelled him up and completely negated his ground level/running game.

Hibberd the obvious candidate if we elect to do something similar, though Rivers probably has a better capacity to follow him on his long runs up the ground and through the midfield.

That all being said, Hawkins tends to be the one that worries me more anyway. Cameron's record against us is pretty mediocre.

If only we could clone Joel Smith and use one of him at both ends of the ground. IF ONLY.

I thought it was bad when I first saw it, my first thought was Tom Lonergon when Brad Miller ran into him and he needed to go to the hospital to save his life.

Terrible by the Geelong doctor to have Danger play on last night.

You’d imagine he doesn’t play then.

Tomlinson probably takes him to start and we try free up Lever as much as possible.

Probably halfway between the Selwood style milk the s**t out of it but have a backup handball plan and the Pickett/Spargo - s**t I got caught gunna hope I duck free out of it.
Spargo is definitely “I have no idea what to do next please get me high”

Tomlinson on Hawkins or Cameron? Could maybe do a job on Hawkins now that he’s a bit slower, but Tommo on Cameron would be Fred Fanning areas

Truth is we don't really have a suitable matchup for Cameron.

Just gotta win the midfield and kick straight up forward and we should win.

Tomlinson I believe did OK on Hawkins after Hawkins accidentally/deliberately/recklessly smashed May’s eye socket in 2021.

But Tomlinson on Cameron? No thanks.

Rivers and Bergman have very similar physical attributes so it would be worth a shot.

If it’s Tomlinson for Hawkins and Rivers for Cameron, is it another chance to manage Hibberd’s Achilles and calf?

Rohan? May or even McVee?

Stengle? May used to be able to take these types but May’s agility looks pretty bad these days.

Lever trying to zone off.

It ends up quite a tall backline if a medium like Rivers instead of a tall back takes Cameron and Hibberd stays in too.

Spargo out of form so Oliver in for him, I'd like to see us not rush back Bowey or Petty. Sure it's hard luck losing a spot to injury, but this happened on occasions in 2021 and it rewards players who come in and play well, something that was basically non-existent in 2022.

Smith showed too much to drop for Petty next week, same goes for Tomlinson. Petty and Bowey can come back via the VFL and be rearing to go when they get their next opportunity.

Bergman was awesome.

Would be a good test for Rivers. Cameron going all over the ground would hopefully get him some touches running through the middle.

Rivers has improved his intercept marking as well which is needed. Bergman was elite dropping back and marking when Port pressured the last kick inside 50.

Bergman's old man, whilst a saints man, played for Melbourne reserves. Get him in

Well we're actually favourites against Geelong at KP, never thought I'd see that. With Danger probably out, we just have to win, sick of playing down there, sick of losing down there, no excuses.

Apparently we're heading down on Wednesday to train and staying the night in Geelong. Remember we did something like that back in 2011. How did that go again?

Goodwin today didn’t guarantee Olivers return against the Cats. Maybe the stEdy rumour has legs, why would he be running laps and having a kick after the QB game if he wasn’t fit 🤔
Dude was in hospital for a week getting pumped full of antibiotics, has to do a fitness block. IT MUST BE COCAINE.

****ing morons.
