GWS is a sneaky one as well. There is easily enough talent there that if they do get hot, they'll do a lot of damage.
They've have to come from the bottom half of the top 8 again me thinks, and that's tough.

I've got them finishing 9th.

It's a tough draw. The list is stacked though, and really, finals are all about getting hot at the right time.

GWS fate is well and truly in GWS hands.

Incredibly after not winning a game this year and upsetting neighbours due to my shouting at the tv at how poo we are - Nicks is starting to impress me with his decisions and selections - and I agree with an earlier post that presser was a good one.

He has taken on a mess and had to start way behind the eight ball - youngsters should have been blooded way earlier. We may be a rabble but maybe just maybe he may still guide us out -- sure that might be in 2023 but he is doing a few things right.

I'm hopeful that the backfire that occurred when they loaded up the experience thinking a win was on the cards has allowed Nicks to push a genuine development agenda. And that agenda will actually result in better performances. Huge turnaround in effort and efficacy between Roos and Demons. Hopefully the club power brokers have realised the stupidity of their ways.

Talia being Manage at the start, along with Brodie will play, Hartigan comes in 1.25 , Jones not playing at 7.57

Something which really stood out from this press conference, Nicks mentions something around the 5:50 mark around 'becoming a physical side off ball, so that we were not dictated to' against Melbourne.

More of that Nicks, and you might just win me over yet.

Not bad. Good to see Sholl and Schoey retained. Crocker is pretty lucky to keep his spot - surely it's his last chance this week. Kelly had to go though - he was deplorable against Melbourne.

It's quite amazing how the teams we are now fielding look somewhat close to the teams people wanted at the start of the year.

Schoenberg, Sholl, McPherson, McHenry all playing. Hamill would normally be there too. Kelly, Murphy, Atkins, Gibbs not considered
