... it is an away game.

I love the irrational confidence. "I'll allow us to win two games".
I don't think we would beat more than two or three of the SANFL teams right now.

Probably correct, but I think it would be a fair bit closer against the top teams than we would like to admit. That last sentence is absolute crap mate and you know it. Any AFL side would wipe the floor clean with the lower levels. If you think our fitness is bad, they aren’t even in the same ball park given it’s not a full time career. If we can match it with an AFL side (like we have done a few times this year), then our scoring wouldn’t be an issue in the lower leagues. Can you imagine Norwood’s ruck trying to keep up with ROB?

Given the timeslot and the fact I work near the ground, it made sense to go instead of rushing home to watch on TV. I’m feeling optimistic after the last game too! Hopefully Hamill comes in as he’s super exciting to watch.I reckon a carton of beer would have been a better investment with that $50.
Disagree. As we have seen with the likes of Patty Wilson, the step up from that level to AFL is huge.Probably correct, but I think it would be a fair bit closer against the top teams than we would like to admit.
.We have clearly demonstrated that we are the worst team in the AFL.
Our best performance is well below the best performance of all the other 17 teams.
Our worst performance is much worse than the worst performance of any of the teams above us.
But.... if we play near to our best and Hawthorn play close to their worst then I’m telling you “We’re a Chance!!!!”.

Winless in 2020, if that happens, will be over when the Season ends. It doesn't carry forward. Why would it?... & give us something to look forward to next year as the pressure would be huge being winless.
You underestimate the mental side of sport...Winless in 2020, if that happens, will be over when the Season ends. It doesn't carry forward. Why would it?
2021 will be tabula rasa --- new year, hopefully new/better assistants (no Hart/Hass/Godden, please), new/better fitness after strong pre-season and ready to improve with an imaginative game plan.
However, if they start 0-11 or up to 2-9, Nicks won't see the year out. Chapman and Roo will blame him, not themselves.
Wow that’s depressing (to me at least). Are this draft‘a mids that ordinary, or do you have a very high opinion of Crouch?None of the mids in this draft are as good as peak Brad Crouch, the question is will we ever see "peak" Brad Crouch again?

I think you mean I've underestimated the mental side of a winless 2020, carrying over mentally into 2021 (?).You underestimate the mental side of sport...
He didn’t make the AA squad tho, so it’s still a gloomy prospect - none of this year’s draft mids will be good enough to be AA by their mid twenties.'Peak' Brad Crouch won a club B&F and polled 14 Brownlow votes in a team that only won 10 games that year. Ironically, that year was last year...
They weren't pre-listed. We traded for the right to participate in a mini-draft, where O'Meara was selected #1, and Brouch #2. They were never on any GCS list, and were never tied to GCS in any way (unlike Brown, who was pre-listed by them). You obviously never saw Jaeger O'Meara or Brad Crouch play at U16's or U18's level, they were outstanding prospects hence they were both pre listed by the GCS, fortunately at the time we were able to do a deal with the GCS that saw us land both Brad and Luke Brown. O'Meara would have gone 1 and Brad 2 if they were in the open draft the following year.
The sad part is neither have been able to realise their full potential because of serious injuries.....Ask some of the West Adelaise people how good Brad was as a 17 year old in the games he played for them before he was eligible to play AFL.
