We looked so much better with Sloane, Betts, Knight, Murphy and Gooch applying pressure. Keath will be a better player than Hartigan. No other changes please.

If Douglas comes in it has to be at the expense of Kelly. Jake had a decent enough game, he just doesn't need to be there.

The more run the better.

Jake is a great runner and quick. We finally looked like a fast team last night. Don’t want us to bring Douglas back. He is still a few weeks away anyway I think he said to BT.

If we bring back Douglas it will be at the expense of speed.

Douglas? I don’t agree. Plus Jake can run all day. He is always one of our highest for sprint efforts and repeat sprint efforts. Douglas doesn’t have it in him to run both ways all game long anymore. Defensive running is probably more important to us than attacking running. Thought we had good pressure last night. The mix is about right.

Kelly has lost his spot to Cheney. Huge worry they are now trying to create a wing position for him.

It's MacKayesque.

Except it'll only last as long as Dmac's absence from the 1's. His spot is safe whilst Kelly is running as next man up there.

I think Fog will come in for Tex but wonder if we'd be better off just running a bit smaller up forward. Fog battles a bit to get involved in the game (do like what he does with it for the most part), think the speed addition we had in our forward ine tonight did wonders for us. Created mistakes, turnovers and goals off the back of guys getting there quicker to harass them. Not really sure there is much more speed to bring in and Fog can pressure well and alternative options like CEY aren't going to add any more speed, just more midfield rotation.

Against Brisbane might be an opportunity for Fog to snag a few goals.

I suspect we may bring him straight back in as he is more an explosive type, rather than a midfielder.

Poholke is the future? He is far too indecisive. That’s not what we need at the moment.

I have a feeling Hartigan may play. Brisbane have a far less imposing forward line so he may be given a chance to get some confidence rather than being surrounded by ammos in the reserves. But he really needs to turn his form around. I know he is currently struggling but a fully fit and firing Hartigan would be very handy.

We are better off investing in Polholke than playing Gibson imo.

Hartigan got torched by Hawkins. Keath played much better ... vs Buzza and an out of sorts Menzel.

Swap defensive duties and how would they have fared?

Selectors may see it that way. They gave the more difficult role to Hartigan for a reason.
