Mr Connector is BACK, young Swans circle, but where are the Cats?
Who are the vital links between your side's midfield and attack? Riley Beveridge looks at the numberswww.afl.com.au
They literally ran an article a week ago that said Lynch was currently the best in the league for his position and role.
Exactly. After a month i'd be more surprised if we weren't managing 4-5 players through the main session.Just like every team in the league. It's a contact sport.

As I’m now reminded he will be out of contract, can’t say I will be shocked at allI think you might be in for a shock if wants out and he picks north..there will be no such remuneration offered for McAsey when they can walk him to the PSD for free
If Jake Kelly was good you might consider playing him off an interrupted week.
But he's not. So it's the perfect opportunity to debut someone
Oh noThere could be a sport can be a cruel mistress moment coming up here, seeing Kelly is probably playing the best he has since 2017, and if he's injured, this spot is likely to go to a white-hot Worrell.
Jake may never get that spot back, much like what occurred when Cheney got injured.
White-hot, wow way to over inflate what's really the case. There could be a sport can be a cruel mistress moment coming up here, seeing Kelly is probably playing the best he has since 2017, and if he's injured, this spot is likely to go to a white-hot Worrell.

I'm waiting for the melts on Sunday night, when Murray is named and Worrell isn't. WTF didn't Worrell get a debut, they will wail... not even thinking that the player selected ahead of him has a grand total of 1 AFL game to his name (+ 1 Clayton's game).White-hot, wow way to over inflate what's really the case.
Worrell is showing decent SANFL form and is in form worthy of definite consideration should an AFL spot open up but white-hot? Steady up.
Murray would have to be equally in that same discussion possibly even ahead of Worrell..
Also will be a test of our system. There could be a sport can be a cruel mistress moment coming up here, seeing Kelly is probably playing the best he has since 2017, and if he's injured, this spot is likely to go to a white-hot Worrell.

We should only pick him if we aren’t going to get an injury in the first 3/4Seeing we're firmly in a rebuild, wouldn't it be better to just leave Mackay as the sub? Sure he might lose match fitness, but it does mean every kid we have is getting a full game, either in the AFL or SANFL.
Why aren't you on match committee? We should only pick him if we aren’t going to get an injury in the first 3/4
Becuase rooWhy aren't you on match committee?

my point was more that if he does ask to leave... and choses a team like the dogs, cats etc.. and all they want to give up is a shit late second or early third (which is what you can be guaranteed they will) then they should just say “see ya, take your chances in the PSD”.. theres a rumour North is interested in him so he’ll probably end up there.I think you might be in for a shock if wants out and he picks north..there will be no such remuneration offered for McAsey when they can walk him to the PSD for free
Bullshit he's going well but white-hot he is not.A 20 disposals (13.5 kicks, 6.5 handballs), 5 marks, 4 r50s at 88% DE average for an intercepting defender is white-hot. To give some context, and using numbers that are easier to collect as a reference, if Worrell was able to reproduce that at an AFL level*, compared to other key defenders (chosen because Doedee, Lever, Gardner, Aliir, Adams etc are here**), Josh would be 4th for disposals, t24 for marks, t1 for inside 50s, t17 for rebound 50s, 12th for disposal efficiency (4th for players averaging over 10 kicks), and that's on top of other "eye" factors. Stuff like he's been willing to run and take the game on.
The proof is in the pudding after all, and it's he's forced himself into the selection discussion, and potentially overtakes both Murray and McAsey into a debut if Kelly is injured.
*The assumption being the performance that would be considered elite in the AFL is the same as the SANFL. I reckon it's a fair assumption, if not underselling how hot Joshs start has been, just due to competition.
** Players who I reckon are the fairest comparison to how Josh has played so far.
Hope so, finally picking a team that won’t have a late first rounder
It's a bit of a throwaway comment. I mean, every coach wants to be going in unchanged week in week out as it means you're not having any problems whatsoever, everyone is performing to their best of their abilities, you're always winning etc.
We'll see what passes, Kelly twinging a calf pricked my ears up. We might be seeing Worrell debut this week depending on what comes back from those scans.
Could hardly have been more impressive.Bullshit he's going well but white-hot he is not.
McAsey is not even in the discussion form wise.
Comparing SANFL to AFL? You serious?
We are playing the youngest side in the league
So we could be playing as many 5 underdone players. Walker, Kelly, Lynch, Smith and McAdam
