Pre season draft for free I’m guessing if North finish last
I can’t, for the life of me, understand why ANYONE would voluntarily go to North...

Based on the Nicks presser I think the likely changes are Worrell/Murray for Kelly (calf) and Berg for Frampton. Nicks never pots a player in public, but mentioned Frampton has been down on his strengths in recent weeks (contested marking and set shots). Hately definitely very close too, was happy with how his defensive work had been developing alongside winning plenty of it, I reckon he comes in once Berry needs a rest.

Looks like Frampton gets another week listening to Nicks presser. :( Doing an important job of dropping marks and not kicking goals.
I got the complete opposite view. Mentioned things he has been poor at (what you mentioned above) and then went with the old providing a contest etc. Once coaches start describing that as the only thing you’re doing well while mentioning they’re happy with the form of one of your direct competitors for a spot, you’re heading out of the side. Nicks is super calm in his pressers, but after watching the doco and seeing his on field sprays, he wouldn’t be accepting of those middle two quarters. If Frampton was either holding marks or kicking goals then his spot would be fine, but they’ve both completely gone and coaches aren’t blind to this, they just needed to see good form from Berg and RT as well.

Brodie Smith chance of playing?

An underdone Lobb is just waiting to be exploited
Lobb is a better forward than Meek, so they'll bring him back knowing Darcy can handle the majority of ruck minutes and Treacy can chop out in the ruck if needed too.

Makes our backline setup interesting. They'll have Lobb (206cm) Tabener (198cm) and Treacy (194cm) in their forward line. We've been playing Butts (198cm), Kelly (190cm) and Doedee (187cm) with Fischer McAsey (197cm), Josh Worrell (195cm) and Nick Murray (193cm) as potential ins to even that up a bit.

Worse than that, quoted as playing some great footy. It is a major concern, what he is settling for is being happy for a player to be carried by his teammates because we're beating the shittest opposition available. He's not looking for ways to improve, he's looking for excuses to reward non-performance as long as the rest of the 22 are covering that weakness. Whether that's continuity or good bloke related, it is a terminal mindset if you're after ultimate success.

If Framptons supposed good performance is not showing up on the plethora of statistics we now have available, he is not performing. Didn't he have less of a statistical impact that an unused Dmac?

I know the cupboard is bare with Hberg and they are scared of playing RT but there comes a point you just gotta replace a non performing liability.

If Frampton isn't performing against poor teams he certainly will get found out when we start playing some genuine quality teams from week 8 onwards. Thats presuming Nick's is still playing him at that point. Knowing how we roll we will that's when we will make the change with Thilthorpe. We should be starting him against softer teams if he is to be played this year.

Seeing Pickett do some relief Ruckwirk last night makes me think we should not carry Frampton due to his Rucking.

He is a terrible forward.

If your Forward/Ruck is a good.forward you keep him in the side. Frampton ain't.

Lynch, Fog, Tex and even Seed could pinch hit in the middle

"But he is playing well in a side that is performing well and I think that is powerful for our group to be able to back that in." If you think there's any alternate interpretation of that which sees Billy dropped then your hemp oil isn't as THCless as claimed. "Powerful" decision is to continue to select him. You think after saying that he's not choosing the "powerful" option. This is just a more elaborate way of saying, "continuity"
